And people are right. The Stones haven't been worth anything since Bill Wyman took off, Ozzy's an ant-snorting, incoherent parody of himself and what more can be said about Aerosmith? They, like VH, labor under the delusion that their absence would be missed--only in their case, it really wouldn't. I mean, when was the last time VH was musically relevant?
At least Pink Floyd (or David Gilmour, anyway) has the good sense to stay out of things musically when you're no longer relevant.

Yea, you're right. Once your day in the Sun in over, you should just pack it in, roll over and die. Who cares if there are thousands of fans still excited to see their hero's in action. Who cares if as a musician, you still have something to contribute. You're done. How narrow minded. In a matter of hours, I'm going to be watching Iron Maiden at Irvin Meadows CA. When was the last time they were what you consider relevant? Does it matter? Of course not. Keep that in mind as you get older.

I couldent agree more. And where do you think the bands of today got their inspiration? If these guys just gave up and quit as soon as their time in the spotlight was done, their music wouldent be there to inspire future generations to play. So buddy just remember that its these "irrelevant" bands that make music what it is today.

The band has always "pranced for the crowd," and they still rock. I have seen them live. This is not a good quality clip. I just wish Diamond Dave would sing the songs the way they originally recorded them, instead of lounge singer style.
