using a metronome is essential, patience is absolutely key. youre never going to get this in one go. i learnt this by going up in steps of 8bpm on the metronome starting at a really low tempo. if you can play it 5 times through at one speed withought making a mistake then move up 8bpm :) there you go, hope it helps! i know you have to be really disciplined to learn something like this

Greetings Mr. Luis Moreno,Hope you'll be able to read this, i can see that you can cover a fare share of instrumental guitar playing from different artists,styles and genre of music, i was wondering though can you do Frank Gambale's monster lick which is entitled "The Lick that slurped L.A." and show it here on You Tube? He played it on an instructional video he did way back in the late 80's. It's really an impressive lick and pretty much technical in every sense of the word.
