Jang i have a big question will this motor shaft fit the ofna hyper 10SC pinion gear. The pinion gear is a 3mm Bore Mod 1 Pinion Gear will that fit on the Ten shock shaft. Or will i have to use a Novak Mod 1 pinion gear.

Is the x801 enough of a motor compared to a x802 for racing? I'm asking because of it's weight (290g) which is really light. I don't need more power but I feel concerned about the temps. I would run it with 4S lipos and various sized tracks. What do you think?

Why would 1900kv be too low in kv in 4S? There are plenty of racers running 1900kv 4S setups we very good results, even on larger tracks. Slow is fast, why asking for more kv?

ALot of people use the 1900kv motors on smaller tracks on 4s. Looks like Jang is on a pretty good sized track and while using 4s wont see the top speed that a 2100 or 2500 motor would.

It's one of the rebrands motor thats floating around in the market..  Google "Toro 1:8" and you'll se.. :)

@MrLimpanS Not a rebrand, The toro motor is very similar to tenshock in looks but that is where it ends. The rotor, magnets and bearings I can assure you are very diffrent.

That said it is very possible Tenshock makes the Toro motor. Same as Castle builds some of HPI's motors.

I've got a motor that has 2A no load and I got another motor that has 0.5A no load. Both got about the same power and runtime so what's the no load thing difference?

It's very similar to the Turnigy Trackstar 4068 1/8 scale motor, which is a 2560Kv.
