No. Roddy won this clash, and Tony took the rematch. It wasn't really about winning or losing though. They are two great sound men with deep boxes and a great deal of respect for each other and the music.

No. Roddy won this clash, and Tony took the rematch. It wasn't really about winning or losing though. They are two great sound men with deep boxes and a great deal of respect for each other and the music.

although they both know history of reggae music, i must say downbeat know his history better because he is a born jamaican and not a guy from london trying to make money off of jamaican, and another thing is no one talks about the clash in england when downbeat the world ruler killed rodigan bloodclaat. rodigan you carry go bring come to much, just like downbeat said at the vintage edition of the 2008 world clash. was i the only one who was about to see a fight erup.

Ive been listening to him on and off for about 30 years! This is the first time I realised he looks bit like my lawyer. Not that thats a bad thing...My question is: He is a great Reggae music ambassador BUT is he truly respected by the cool young dudes who influence style and culture or is he simply put up with? Is his time over or is he a respected veteran. Someone, who is in the know tell me. Peace.
