Just love the humour; your delivery was perfect. I once found a toothbrush in a school car park. Now, a comb or a piece of toast I can understand...! 5* Fav.
The first step is acknowledging, the second is acceptance :) Do you make crazy stories up for the answers you don't know? I'd like to be a fly on the wall!
P.S. I like your new video image, it is now as crisp and clear as your wonderful poetry.

Thank you Peter. Children remind me that the magic in the world is found within us.

Nice delivery of a wonderful poem. Clever to find so much inspiration from a simple situation, so much of the extraordinary in the seeming ordinary.

Lovely poem. This is a great subject and your articulation really brings insight into this tiny observance of things left behind.

Good to see and hear you again.
I wonder about stuff like that all the time.
And still I am stumped by my four year old that has even more questions.
More important and still I don't know all the answers.
Me? Dad, not knowing all the answers?
Where did that come from?

I make stories up and make sure he knows I make them up.
"Why is is sky yellow?"
I look up to find he made a joke but to my amazement the sky is an almost lemon yellow.
"I have no idea. But maybe an angel flew by and had to take a piss."

Thanks MsWriteNow, you paint a vivid picture. Did you try calling the number on the napkin? It's the kind of thing I would think of doing.

Hmmm, never thought of doing that - would hate to confirm that a love interest left it behind. Thanks for listening.
