I worked with that man in Mac Chain in Surrey, BC, ages ago. I hated and feared he was huge and nasty. Later I heard he had some terrible problems and was grouchy as result. One night, at a party, he showed me his models. I loved to build models too, especially airplanes. I changed my mind about that guy. For the rest of our time as friends, from about 1988 until 2008 we were good friends. We had a very complex friendship. Very close in tempermant us two. We shared a lot. GOD BLESS YOU STEVE.
In june 2008 I had a heart attack and lay down for many months near death. We hadn't talked for some months before I got sick. I wish we had. His laughter betrayed his monstrous size and, to strangers would bring them around to him, to say hi. Steve was loyal. There are two boys who didn't have a papa, Steve was like a papa to those boys. I think Sharon was mom's name. SHaron and Mom Dzurek, Please know that the guys at Freehost Warbirds are going to have a missing man flypast
