What beautiful film! Watched multiple times for more than 10 years, when used to spend on tv. But these days I saw it in a store and bought quickly ... good movie is so, leaves an impression, a permanent brand becomes unforgettable!!!
This was an amazing movie. Keanu Reeves was so great and he's so handsome in an army uniform. Watch this! You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll fall in love with it.
I love him and it looks really romantic, and call me stupid, naive and narrow minded but I can't force myself to watch it as I can't get past the fact that she's pregnant with another man's child.
It's not her virginity or the romance, but her virtue that bothers me. Her moral virtue. I mean, how can lie to her parents like that and take advantage of a man who's got his whole life ahead of him. It feels as if she has everyone around her pay for her mistake alongside with her, while she's hiding
@andely19 I have seen it now, and I stick to my previous comment. OK, I was wrong about her and him, the child doesn't bother me. But it just BOTHERS me that BEING from a strict catholic family the way she is, she lies to people closest to her about something like this, and basically silently complaints about their unfair treatment of her the entire movie. No matter what, if she wants to keep her secret to herself, she needs to get by without help, otherwise they have a right to know!

Second, what's wrong with having a high moral standard? Just because some people don't F around like SOME others do, doesn't mean that SAID people are in the wrong. Actually, I HAVE seen the movie now, and I stick to my point. OK, he can do what he wants and be with her, but the way she lies and exploits her family is just nauseatingly deceitful
@555discovery : i know how you feel i was planning to play black ops during the movie but seeing a few scenes of it while trying to get a soda i got hooked :) i would see i many many times and i hope the make new one with the same great acting and beautiful landscaping.
