iv fish the arm for years and its getting harder to get the big girls out, maybe there gone to the dinner table, who knows.. one thing i know is skippy still there.. lol
@MrWesbrown skippy? you mean the seal is still there! i thought it would have been relocated by now!!!! it got to have done some serious damage to stocks now!... i been fishing the warks avon for years and struggle to hit a double figure pike now, mainly due to the floods of 07, but poachers definately aint helping matters, its gonna be a long time till the rivers are back to their former glory :-(
Yet more pressure on declining UK rivers!!, Eastern Europeans,Seals,Mink,Cormorants,Otters,Signal Crayfish,Mitten Crab.Is it true that seals suffer from a form of skin cancer if they spend to long in fresh water?.
@myketyke1 I wouldn't know about that mate, id say its possible, as they are designed for the sea and river water isn't really that fresh, what with run off from fields and drains. one thing i do know tho is you're right about the pressure on the fish stocks :-(
@antipepperpot I have nothing against them as a race, you cant tar them all with the same brush. Its just the way they fish (methods), and take our prized prized fish. oh and the litter and fires.
Shoot it
