Its amazing how a child's anger can turn to pride when their parent is attacked by crudeness! Harness that for good and not resentment toward the service member. My family has a long history of military service before me, with me, and after me, already. You can call us stupid, slaves, or whatever else you want, but at least we aren't sitting by just complaining and pointing the finger. I can relate to this song. i know you died with your friends sis, but why couldn't you come home to me,i miss you so much...i found out while in bootcamp,i got the letter from the carrier,he was confused when i thanked him,i sat down in my COs office,my DI for the first time seemed human as he sat next to me and told me he was sorry,i asked him to be harder on me,to keep me standing tall i knew that's what my sister would want, whoever said soldiers don't cry is wrong, but they sure as hell never give up.

People lost brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, uncles, aunties you name it. They lost loved ones. Our troops are there to fight to prevent things like that from happening. If it wasn't for our heroes, they'd attack everyone-they might even attack Poland. Without our troops, 9/11 is bound to occur again-again, loved ones would be lost.

Yes, you are correct. Freedom should be an entitement for everyone. However, we did not aid the freedom fighters for the sake of freedom. We helped because we were afraid that USSR was gaining another territory. Had we let the USSR take control, they would have waged a costly war on terror, not to mention things like 9/11 on their soil and the ensuing financial collapse.

No man should hate a soldier. They put their life on a line for their country, for a man next to him and mostly for you. When war ends, civilian opens a bottle of champagne, celebrates, but soldiers still lives with his war. And that's why you shouldn't ever forget your brave men, but honor them - like with this song.

People lost brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, uncles, aunties you name it. They lost loved ones. Our troops are there to fight to prevent things like that from happening. We helped because we were afraid that USSR was gaining another territory. @TheBBoyIII You truly need to be one of the best to have a shot at getting into the Seals, the Average American can't handle it. Not only that, but you'll need to think about it first, there's plenty more to do, don't just jump on the Seal, Ranger, and SF bandwagon that most kids these days think they're going to get into. Because most of them wont. The mere fact that you're second guessing yourself leads to me believe it's not for you. You have to WANT it more than anything and do all it takes.

When war ends, civilian opens a bottle of champagne, celebrates, but soldiers still lives with his war. And that's why you shouldn't ever forget your brave men, but honor them - like with this song.

The song is great! i'm gettin deployed in 8 months...i'm already 12 hours away from my family and haven't seen them in 5 months but now i'm going overseas and won't see them for god knows how long...i am fixin to truely understand what it is like and i have the up most respect for everyone who will be standing by me when we leave.
