  • You really don't have a clue what you're talking about. Rakim is one of the greatest lyricists of all time in ANY music genre.

Don't you dare compare Rakim to most other rappers as he's on a whole other level!

  • Poetry in motion kid. But that's your opinion... So run with it and Keep living in the 70's

  • Hip Hop is a culture founded by people with brown skin lool get ur shit rite man

  • @violator2442 Fucking idiot! You are a non-factor.

  • dope

  • Man 40 is not old. Didn't you hear? "Rakim gets stronger as i get older!".

  • How can you think Rage's version is better? This song definitely came out 20 years before Rage covered it. Sure Rakim is hella old, but by saying that Rage's version is better, your taking away from the path that this song paved for hip hop, and thats just wrong

  • Is "kick a hole in the speaker pull the plug then I jet" the best line in hip hop history or not. No one does it better than the R

  • A Rage fan, but this version kicks ass too.

  • Your talking out of of ur ass. Rakim's version eats rages version alive.

  • you're obviously not a hip-hop fan. this song is LEGENDARY! i used to blast this in my car when this song came out (shows you how old i am).

i'm a fan of both versions actually. thing is they are very different styles/versions, and you need to respect that.

  • Rakim is the God!

    St. Alfred all day!!!
