I was watching a funny episode of that old show family ties. This is a perfect example of unbalance. A family extremely p.c. to the maximum almost facist. A black family moves into the neighberhood and is attacked with hate phone calls and harrassed by neighbors in rural Ohio? It would seem the media wants us to believe racism is strong in america. In the mid 80's people had evolved into racial respect this hatred was extremely uncommmon. Racism is used for manipulation to mislead the public.

The Northern generals were the ones who then destroyed the native americans post war. Many of the southerners wanted to coincide with natives which was a political struggle. If the north cared so much for equality how come they said not a word about the native americans being forced onto reservations?

The Civil War was not about slavery. It was about power and control of state rights. The industrial revolution shifted power to the north. When the civil war began slavery was not an issue. It was three years later that Lincoln concieved the plan to introduce the emancipation proclimation. This was a diversion to gain support for a war he was losing. This has been distorted in history. The Northern Army was dispicable destroying the South, scorched earth policy. Southern families were destroyed.

@trustinstinct To the slave owners it was all about slavery. That was their entire labor force. However very few people in the south were slave owners. Most were patriots fighting for their nation against a foreign enemy. That's what a State is, a sovereign nation. Its not a province like in Canada.

Afghanistan ? 10 years ago the russian soldiers warned us that victory was impossible. We did not listen and created our own ten year waste of war. The U.S. is following the U.S.S.R. not in communism which never really existed there it was totalitarian but the corruption allowing wealthy individuals to influence government decisions which jeopardize us. U.S. States should have individual control like Europe. That is what the Civil War was about ! Tell the truth do not be afraid.

Ron Paul is correct control inflation and stop insulting the average american by stealing money for the wealthy. Wake up people we are getting taken to the cleaners by the top tier.
