This is a total disgrace, a misuse, an insult. The original version has music by Ravi Shankar/ is created by Jonathan Miller, the best screen adaptation of the novel Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll ever put onto the screen by a director and his team. To steal this, not credit the steal, remix it with one finger lame stupid stock footage style crap electronic bull shit is to die as an artist. Go die, baby, go die. You are dead. Bye.

Yes, I have made more. If you click on my page name you'll find a few. There is StarGazing, (which I think you'll like) Swivel, plus Rasillon, O.B.E (very garage band) & The Cheshire Cat. (a spontaneous 4 guitar basement jam with lyrics) I'm guessing you like the ambient. So StarGazing would be best. I still want to make more vids for my other ethereal music too. Its in the works right now. :-)

I checked out the IMDb site for "The Wednesday Play" as you suggested, but no mention of the Alice production. It would probably help if IMDb had at least linked that entry to the "Alice" searches. I did manage to find a copy of the DVD on amazon, though.

Strange that this version of "Alice" is so obscure it's not even listed on IMDb. This is Alice as Somnambule; kinda reminded me of Maya Deren's dreamlike trance films. Nice scoring with the understated music, too!

Naww. This version of "Alice" was made by the BBC around 1965. The video for "See Emily Play" is actually of the band running around in a park, goofing off, in a black & white video. lol.

Thanks for the compliment. Once I found this version, I knew it was a rare keeper! I still need to look up who produced it, but its very bizarre! Alice in Wonderland has always been a tad creepy, but this version was just weird. The ambient/ethereal song I wrote isn't one that has a lot of changes to it, like some of my other ambient songs do, but for this vid it worked perfectly. Thanx again.

A lot of people have asked me where to get this one. I found it at the library, and I need to double check all of the info available for it. It was an "abstract" movie from 1966, with a 1903 version in the extra features. The actress sometimes doesn't even acknowledge the other people around here in this version, its weird! I'll check out the info on what one this is, and let you know. Thanx for the compliment.

Especially the fact that the "hallway full of doors" has taxidermist animals in it!!! Thats REALLY bizarre! Thank you for the compliment. The effect I was trying to acheive happened perfectly. Once I saw this DVD, I KNEW that any kind of "nature footage" would never work for the song. This had the perfect creepiness. I'm glad you liked it.  The original copy is hard to find, but I think its still available.

I actually found the DVD at the public library. All I can remember, is that it was made in 1966, that it has Peter Sellers in it at one point.Plus, there is a special feature on the disc with a 1903 version of Alice as well. I used some of that footage in my video for Dead Stars. I wish I could remember who put it out. I'll go to the library and check it out. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It was such a weird version! I thought it fit my song perfectly.

Thank you very much! :-) That was the effect I was trying to achieve. When I wrote the song, I wanted it to be ethereal yet dark. So when I saw the footage, I knew it was perfect for it. The original film was abstract & creepy. Which is how Alice in Wonderland or Through the Looking Glass SHOULD be sometimes!

She was such a weird actress too. She basically NEVER looked at the people she was around, and she hardly spoke. When she did, it was in an abstract way. I think they were trying to be "artsy."
