I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old DOHC Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

@josemanuel599 Ferrari made the 250 series from ~1953 starting with the 250S and the 250MM (Of which they made seventeen) through ~1965 with the 250GT Lusso. The basic design of the engine stayed the same but there were refinements over the years. In 1965 a Ferrari 250 GTO Le Mans was raced hard with the intent of making other cars break down and won the race. This same car finished first in the 2011 Le Mans Legends race.
Интересно, система зажигания с распределителем зажигания. Двигатель очень хорошо отбалансирован, лежит на столе и не скачет. Супер! Система питания карбюратор или впрыск?
Interesting, system of ignition with the ignition distributor. The engine is very well balanced, lies on a table and doesn't skip. Super! A power supply system the carburetor or injection?
Use 1:100 (1%) two stroke oil in your tank to prevent tank and engine corrosion if you use the modern aggressive fuel that contain 5-10% methanol (not good for the old engine and fuel system materials!)
Hallo, use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix--to prevent engine damage and fuel system corrosion using today aggressive eco fuels that comtain 10% alcohol.

Hi, Mrakssey! To brake up the flow of wind before it hits the drivers face. And to direct some of it up and over the drivers head. At high speed a small screen makes a difference! :)
Oh, I see. You mean the plexiglass scoops... I don´t know why they are made from plexiglass, but if you look at a picture of the engine bay, you´ll notice they are placed directly over two airducts underneeth the hood. My guess is they lead into the car for cooling and drivers comfort or maybe down to the gearbox for cooling. Maybe someone else knows this?
These are called bug shields. When you ride in a car, you sure notice that lots of bugs get squashed on the windshield. The bug shield creates an upward airflow which is supposed to drag these bugs over the car instead of splashing onto the screen and impede the driver's view.
Ill bet most you ASHOLES typing this shit from your computers are little 15 year old bully victims, the rest of you are probably offic workers bored on your computers resigned to the fact that you will never realy ammount to anything,so you decide to rubbish other people to try make yourself feel better,HA HA one day you might even get to own a car!

The trick will be getting the entire car on the table...
