kinda like what happened to me, on a custom level there was an obstacle thing and a cpu meta knight was trying to jump through it to get to me. then he did down+b in to the obstacle and died.

I can tell why the CPU is doing this.

Since you're standing right next the edge of the stage, it doesn't try to just FALL back on the stage normally, and tries to grab a nonexistent ledge so it can use a recovery attack. Level 9's are smart, so they know they have to do that, but when they can't... They fall.

The AI for the CPUs is more effective on stages that came with the game. The AI for Wolf obviously doesn't comprehend what it's supposed to do on that stage. ;|

If you build a level with a large wall going all the way down, and put spikes at the bottom of the wall,(a wall with no edge clig) then wall cling on the wall with lucaro, a level nine will fall down the wall and into the spikes.

They can't recover from that hight, but any charater (lucaro) with a wall cling can. (level 9 included.)

It's funny.

You just wall cling and let them fall, then get back up and let them rack up damage.

It's because his AI tells him he can grab the ledge, so he decides to go directly under it (to avoid getting hit). Unfortunately for Wolf (and many other characters) you can't control which way you fall after an up+b until after a good second has passed.
