  • Welcome to Techno City!

  • saw 808 open for N.Order summer of 91 or 92. Carefree days for sure! These guys were so futuristic at time... the seg at the 3:05 mark is pure pharma-induced genius (esp. for so early house track.) Heh,I found this stuff blissed out as a teenager before I'd even ever tried club drugs...

  • its called transposing octaves

  • i remember seeing them in 1991 in dallas, texas and i was up by the front of the stage and it was so exciting and the words 808 were flashing around the walls, it was packed, i was also under the influence of something that starts with the letter "A", it literally changed my life that night, its like the scene was just starting and everything was fresh and music was a mix of industrial, techno, alternative rock, gothic, hip-hop & anything in between, had an open-minded vibe back then

  • i first bought utd90 album as a cassette while at a record convention seeing it in a box as a promo-only item, the only reason i bought it was cause it looked like a cool cover and had cool song titles, i think i might of heard the song cubik only on an alternative radio show, the album was different, experimental, exciting, and it grew on me over time and they etched themselves as a permenant influence on my brain, i make music and they inspired me a lot

  • techno techno city cant get enough of it, its timeless

  • see 8o8 state live in the studio rooms at bristol in 90 ......fucking amazing ......25 quid for a e back then (fuckin ripped of good and proper) lol

  • doves were doves back then.

  • genius

  • Damn, Pacific, Cubik, Ancodia, Cobra Bora, and Donkey Doctor....

I farking forgot how phanphucktastic 808 was!

  • Mint! This takes me back, the days with no mortgage, job or worries, what an album!
