This is a very good remake. It tries to be it's own thing. I prefer the original, simply because A) It was a product of it's times, whereas this is slightly anachronous, and B) I happen to like the "big" synthy sound of the original. But it's a good cover.

A good cover but I have to disagree with it being equal or better than the original. It doesn't have the charm the original version had. I also don't care for the female vocalist in this one though that could very well be because the original used two and it gave a better sound.

Still a good song. Presidents are great.

That was kinda the point; it was meant to lament and symbolize the downfall of Radio and transition to TV, also supported by the fact it was the first music video ever shown on MTV. Though, I'm sure you know that lol.
