  • I will support you ~ i like wildlife

  • That is great Mr Johnson. Keep it up. I know you are going to that soon .

  • Are you serious?

  • Good luck Leo. May God bless you .

  • Man you're black, you could never be able to lead anything unless you change the color of your skin, thats the reality

  • Fortunately Oratory skills are not necessary to write effective policy, and policy, not breaths decide the direction of this country. But of course developing that skill would be well worth the asset.

Oh just in case you plan to rebut that breaths determine negotiations...it is the breaths of negotiations that lead to the written policy which makes the change.

  • You live in the Arab states .. So wtf?

Maybe I should say that Arabs are a bunch of savage animals who can't help but to blow themselves up.

  • @orasis or maybe u shouldn't

  • Dude - No one wants Diversity people want Unity.

Promote Unity and you'll do much better.

  • Don't listen to the garbage people who tell u to shut up. You need to keep ur dream up :D

  • my friend, keep the faith. we need someone to shake things up. Obama is Americas Trudeau, Trudeau was Canadas Kennedy, maybe you can be Canada's Obama

  • seems like a smart guy, but what are his ideas? its simply not enough to say: we got problems- lets work together.

what do you want to change about the political process? whats your solution for the economy? what about global warming? afghanistan?

  • Is this a joke or what?

  • you forgot to mention the white community. You mentioned aboriginal, blacks, french, hispanics, and asians ?...you need there help too.. everyone should work together and not depend on racial divide. we are all one under god. thank you.

  • dont get a fcking fight started now

  • blue ppl dont exist unless if they are in the hospital or corpses

  • another black leader for canada just like obama jin U.S just what we need

  • I'd rather have an Obama than a Bush.

I mean Bush was white and he, by himself, in almost 8 years managed to destroy the massive respect and admiration the world had for America, tank the economy and almost fully bring the most powerful Empire the world has ever seen to it's knees economically, socially and militarily.

Obama has been in what 4 months? And the U.S dollar is already 1.22 CAD .. During the Bush years it slipped UNDER the Canadian dollar...

    Jesus.

  • Leo is an incredible young man who is involved deeply in our Hamilton community. He is involved with SISO, Governing council for HCCI, Executive Director for CURE Canada, CoChair on the Hamilton Youth Advisory Council, Member of Volunteer Hamilton, Member of Youth In Motion, Governing Council of I.C.A.A.(Immigrant Culture and Arts Association, Member of Youth Canadian Network C.C.R., Member of W.U.S.C (World Universities Services of Canada), Member of A.C.C.A, continued below ...

  • Congratulations Leo Johnson. You have an intelligent platform and your commitment to Canada is obvious.

  • You are very education young man..........

  • LOL

  • Are you sure you dont want to set your sights a little higher?

  • great job leo Johnson. You will be really a great prime minster to provide hardworking leadership to fellow canadians.

    Jahan Zeb

  • Excellent speech Mr. Johnson. I truly appreciate your appeal to the ordinary Canadian and also appreciate your broad definition of who the ordinary Canadian is. Even within this short 3 minute speech it is evident that you have a great grasp of the issues that plague this society at this current time. Good luck in your quest and know that you have my support.

  • I also believe you did not let the speech flow, and that's too bad because it wasd a great speech. It's good as you focused on the middle class man because they are the most inportant and most numerous out there.

  • This presentation was about leaving of message with no doubt in their minds whatsoever of the actual content. Apparently, that goal was achieved based on the overwhelming response as you can see in the comments. I am glad that you also understood it as well only that you think it should have been more rhetorical. My biggest concern is about substance. Nonetheless our disagreement, thanks for watching and I look forward to continuing the conversation about substance rather than the rhetoric

  • I am not sure about your point on word intellect and communication, because the first rule is clarity and articulation. It is not about those who can talk fast, it is about getting a message across in a precise and concise manner. But thanks for expressing your concern, and your comment on Liberian articulation, welcome to Canada man, the most diverse nation in the world where everyone is proud of being who they while appreciating the unique differences of others.

  • I think you speak well, don't listen to what anyone else says. As long as your can be understand it's fine. I have friends with strong Chinese accents and Indian accents and other accents and sometimes they get frustrated because people make fun of them and tease them. People seem to think they're open and accepting but everyone has they're own biases. I think as long a person has good ideas they should be heard out and given a viable chance.

    Good luck.

    Most importantly... Nice Tie.

  • Is this for real or for amusement? Are you a Canadian or a Liberian? Is it constitutional by Canadas proceeding of law that a foreigner be the prime Minister of Canada? Or have you given your nativity right away to Canada?

  • Dahaigbaa, clearly he is Canadian or he couldn't run for Prime Minister. And just because he is from Liberia doesn't mean he can't be a great Prime Minister of Canada, in Canada we are proud of our differences, and it is clear to me that he communicates strongly his message for the country. Leo, you seem like a strong choice, best of luck to you.

  • Let's begin by getting at least five of our friends to watch my video. I need to hear from them even if they do not agree with me. I know some people do not have youtube accounts to make comments, they can watch the video, email me their questions or get it on the facebook page. Let's make sure this year my video is the most watched, in that way we send a strong signal to people that we are ready to continue the wave of change from the United States in to Canada.

  • We need to get people to watch my video and make comments. I am impressed so far with the response, but we are still far from hitting our target. We have target getting at least 5000 people to watch my video by the end of November (Yes We Can).

  • My heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of you who have shown that together we can do something about the future of this great country, Canada, yea the world. You have shown this by giving me your vote of confidence to be Canada's Next Great Prime Minister, and I am honored. I cannot do this alone, I need everyone of you for us to make this dream come true.

  • You are so right. Great speech

  • Good luck Leo! Great insights into the state of Canadian politics. Get it done!

  • Thanks for the comments

  • great speech, how do u plan to get into the politics, before been nominated for PM dont u think you need to start it from some where? so what are u doing? Dont forget me when you get elected Prime Minister Leo :)

  • Excellent speech. You should have been on the ballot at the last Federal election. I don't think the current politicians can move forward from their ancient beliefs and I think that you would be able to bring the desperately needed change in our political system. I think that you are and should be the future leader of our nation and I hope that this time you are declared Canada's Next Prime Minister.

  • Well said, that was pretty good. Keep up the good work, you got my vote lol :)

  • Well spoken speech. What are the ways you hope to engage youth to "restore dignity, confidence and trust" in the system?

    Keep working hard!

  • Well done man, that was impressive speech, good luck! im from Somalia but live in Australia, you got my vote!

just add more keywords to your video, such as canada, election, africa, black, liberia, obama

etc so more people can find it or see it.

  • Thanks for the comments man! I really appreciate it, let's spread the word and get more people to watch the video.

I look forward to talking to you more and getting to know you better

  • Its our site and also i forwarded to few friends on my page.

  • Rather, we will help people by empowering them to take control and solve the problems while providing strategic leadership. As such, development and the socio - economic status is own by the community and not just to serve corporate Canada. Thanks for the concern, I hope this helps with some clarification. I had to post them in blocks because I couldn't do all at once

  • Now I am aware that everyone cannot be in Government circles to be part of the decision making process and they do not need to be, that is why my emphasis will be at the community level; giving community a chance and a voice to help develop their communities by providing them responsible access to the resources that they need. Community leaders will work together with the experts and professionals, but we will graduate from the belief that we can solve the problems for people.

  • Good luck. Just remember that the top couple of percent of the population own as much as the bottom 90%. My advice is to be more clear on your intention to defend the rights of the poor and middle classes against the exploitation of the ruling elite. If you are vague on this point you can never truly rally the people to support you.

  • Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate your concern. I strongly believe that the best way we can defend the rights of the poor and middle classes is to include them in the system and allow them to become part of the decision making process. In this way they do not have to be mere recipients of political decisions in terms of child care, poverty reduction, etc., but a part of the process of making such decisions.

  • Excellent response.
