Nice but. Hold the guitar neck vertical rather at an angle. Place your thumb behind the neck to counter the press exerted by your fingers on the frets. This way you can play more accurately and much faster. With Flamenco "passion" is everything. You must be able to struck the chords fast and hard to it jumps at you. Give color to your tone by adjusting how much you use your nails and flesh of your fingers and how far from the bridge you struck . There is a lot more.etc :-) good luck

the angle of the guitar neck and thumb are rather personal. But i, especially in this case, agree that the thumb should go on the back of neck. I've seen some classical players and flamenco have the thumb a bit higher but they usually tend to have huge hands. To have the thumb over the neck is more usual in normal accoustic guitar rather then classical and spanish.

Anyways on topic: keep up the great work!! In my eyes you found a beautifull art to learn!

Try doing it picado. It will sound better and makes easier to do the rasgueado. Keep practicing, flamenco is pure technique and soul.
