For those that want to see all that there is, I'm born and raise here been in every cave, every river, the lake, all over the woods. Best place to chill eastern regional, the best ever place to spend some money liqure store. Best fishing Rt.11/Rt.9 strip malls. I think they took down the open for business signs so the jail must be full, yall come back now ya heeer!

30 years ago when i was a kid martinsburg was a wonderful place now sadly it has become a drug hole with corrupt police and so called city leaders.

ive heard from a little bird that one of our judges is on the take,locking up his drug buddies competition.if you dont like it.....go back to MD.and VA.i want my home back.take your townhome slums and your developments with you.

EXACTLY! LOL. Not only that but Staples, Dicks Sporting Goods, Five Below, a new Dollar Tree, and many many MANY other stores! :)

And to the uploader of this video, you're a dick... I've been to Long Beach/LA area, and NYC(Prime places for people around my age--17) and I still like Berkeley County just as much if not more. And no, I'm not a redneck!

This show is bullshit for even putting M-Burg n there. The only businesses tht are failing in our are are terrible ones!

the point of this video is that smaller, private-owned business in martinsburg are hurting, and if you've lived there you KNOW that to be true. of course target is doing great -- it's a huge corporate-owned company!

I was raised in the Martinsburg and it is a beautiful area...I know that times are hard right now but it is not a dump...It has improved so much over the years...I live in down south now but I cherish my visits to Martinsburg and the beautiful mountains and streams and wonderful friendly people.

These people are full of crap... Berkeley County is doing better than it ever has in general. Everyone is hit by recession right now, but prior to that its one of the fastest growing parts of the country.

things are tough here .. but it's still My home.. a winchester native, I'm back in the area .. and here in Inwood, just to the south of Martinsburg .. it's rough, but.. I'm still glad to be back home .. Things are tough here, but at least there are a lot of great people, makes it ALMOST worth it.

Though, it was nice to see footage of Martinsburg (I lived there briefly in '90-91 - as a child), it's sad it has to be under those circumstances. The economy has effected so many of us. Let's hope and pray for some serious changes.
