  • WTF ? For Real ?

  • You made one of my childhood nemesis look like a lil bitch. I thank you.

  • so is this guy and glass joe people in real life?

  • Lolwut?

  • cool

  • In an official boxing match, the referee does not stop the count unless the downed boxer shows he has re established his balance and still has the abilty to protect himself.

  • Hey was this played on the pal version of the game or ntsc? From 0:08 to 0:12, you land more punches than usual... any reason why?

  • If you stand up after getting knocked down shouldn't the ref stop the count? I never understood that about this dude. He clearly stands up but the ref says, "fuck it" and keeps counting...

  • @WarlockX4 I haven't commented on this video since 2009 but I completely agree with you.

  • @sprocket2005 there is a such thing as a standing 8 count..and if you still rocked the ref would stop it...so this is accurate..

  • @WarlockX4 you need to take a fighting pose for the ref to stop the count in boxing to show you're still able

  • Damn you're good. My record is only 22 seconds :(

  • incredible!!!!! thats super humanly fast..

i found it quite hard to do this in under the three minutes.

but.. he should have spent less time banging his head at th end and maybe he could have got up before the ten count.

  • wow eres un dios en esto no mames, eres mehjor que yo hahaha XD

  • done by me too

  • Dear Nick Bruiser:

LEARN TO BLOCK YOU FUCKING IDIOT!!! thanks:)

    DXfilmzzz

  • thats impressive

  • The Reason He Lost To Glass Joe!

  • Holy crap dude! Can you beat him faster than Gabby Jay!? OR EVEN GLASS JOE!?LOL

  • How'd you get a KO on his first knockdown? You're saying that's a glitch? How do you trigger it??

  • ive gotten him in 9"77 thats my best

  • ive gotten him in 9"77 thats my best

  • Game Genie code:

DFAB AFDD Most opponents stay down for the count

Easy to cheat people with this. Otherwise he would have beaten the current TAS...

  • To Nick Bruiser: BLOCK YOU IDIOT!

  • @Warrior536

i think Nick Bruiser was trying to block with his chin

  • @Warrior536 He's blocking with his head

  • @sprocket2005 no glitch...just timing, and practice...my college roommate use to whip this dude's can in about the same time.

  • @sprocket2005 Even so,un-glitched record.Kinda like the difference between tool assisted and non tool assisted runs. They're a different league, in my opinion.

  • You don't know how lucky you are to have a WR on the final boss of a highly competitive game (time wise)

  • i hate nick bruiser he has no emotion

  • what a loser!

  • Nick Bruiser got beaten faster then gabby jab

  • i did that weird ko thing with bob charlie, he got up then shrugged then fell down

  • Nick Bruiser got beaten as quick as Gabby Jay. Ouch :P

  • D'oh, Nick almost beat the count but fell.

  • 6.05 is possible. Look at my video, I get a knockdown at then. I think lefts might be a touch faster than rights at the beginning.

  • with absolute perfect lefts and then two rights I think 5.99 is possible. that would be near impossible though.

  • Actually, I just remembered, MeLeeak does a knockdown in 5.33, he uses a different pattern though, weird timing and shit

  • he does a knockdown in that but he gets back up

  • his combos are unorthodox with no human error in all his videos.

  • you think they're tool assisted?

  • i think some are but not all cause im a hundreth off his gabby jay time

  • true i think some of his vids are tas because its impossible to throw 2 punches like in his supermachoman one at the beginning

  • possibly a start-dizzy tas edit I think

  • maybe im not really familiar with tas's but some do seem like it

  • Nice job, but I can't say I'm wholly impressed by the game itself. The game departed so much from the style of the original that it lost a lot of its charm, and the characters (the Bruiser brothers in particular, being the final two competitors) were, for the most part, unimpressive and forgettable. Good to see some were salvaged and improved in the new Wii game though, as it certainly shouldn't be left in the trash.

  • ref. mario and iron mike tyson I mean it's win win...

  • Comment removed

  • I know, there was some arcade game, but most people prefer the NES version and played it first. I'm glad you had to use condescending language and emoticons to belittle my opinion, though. In retrospect, some of the characters were fairly colorful, but I suppose it's just the Bruiser bros. that were very bland, being the final competitors and everything.

I even said I was glad that they salvaged and improved Bear Hugger and Aran Ryan, why do you take my criticism personally?

  • I've knocked him down faster and slower than this and he always gets up. What are you doing differently?

  • It's gotta be a glitch because I played easily over 1000 matches. I've got Knockdowns on 6.11, 6.37, 6.40 and then 6.16 but he still got up. It's what a normal Second Knockdown sequence looks like.

If I did this again I would probably bump my cartridge on the first Knockdown in hope of something similar.

  • I'll keep trying. I want the world record again. :D

  • Hint : When Nick taps his head under 6 he will recover past 7 he goes down

  • Just wondering, I've been trying this guy alot on the Virtual Console, and I can't for the life of me get a KO on this guy. Is there any advice you could give me on consistently KO'ing him, or is it just luck?

My best time here stands at 11"20 with a TKO.

  • He spins on a KO with a face Super. Body Supers are more effective against his brother Rick Bruiser. They still knock him down on a dizzy.

Once he gets up from a first knockdown hit him with supers right away and hope for the best. He becomes very predictable with time and practice. He's no Iron Mike Tyson or Mr. Dream though.

This took over 1000 takes easily lol.

  • I can't believe how outrageously fast this was. My best time on this guy is like 40+ seconds. I've NEVER seen Nick stay down for a KO ever.

    Simply amazing!

  • amazing!!! it comes to the Wii today!
