Thanks for posting this great panel discussion! Even though I've been working on-location since 1981, my film education is a continuous evolution. Attending film fests, panel discussion & sympsiums/workshops of this type are so vitally enriching to me. Having attended Sundance many times, I must say that film fests, in general are "story" festivals. The medium happens to be film, but it's much bigger than that.
Long live "independent vision".
