I feel like my life isn't even my own to live. I've spent 24 years of my life living for my family. I spent 3 years away for school and it was amazing. I feel trapped now that I"m home again. I feel like my parents don't want to know who I really am. I didn't choose to be born. They chose, however, to have kids. Did they not intend to teach their children that they would be loved no matter who they are or what they do? My parents are conservative too. I just don't have the courage to come-out :(

Like you, I'm sick of the loneliness and feeling like an outsider allll the time. All I see around me are hetero couples everywhere I go and it sux that I don't see gay couples. I feel the same exact way, man... not a day goes by that I don't hate being gay. I've considered suicide so many times by now, but I just tell myself that I have to keep going. That can't be good for your self-esteem. Depressed, I didn't have any gay friends so I joined a gay Pride committee and they made me the Second Chair. If you want a partner it is really important how you groom yourself. Always use a good antibacterial mouth wash before meeting a guy. It's the little things.

Look, relationships can be rough when you're straight as well. I'm disabled, so it wasn't easy trying to pick up women (they all tended to want the jock types, not the quirky guy in the chair.) It can really mess with the self confidence. So in a way, I know how you feel about failing to get a relationship struck up.
Being straight, I can't really say much except to wish you good luck. I'll echo vwestlife's comment about focusing on the things that make you happy.

This video was taken quite a while ago, so I hope you aren't still feeling like this. If you are though...I've been there. I am there right now. I just got out of a serious relationship a little over a year ago and since then, I've tried meeting plenty of girls and I've come across the same problems as you. Either we talk for a few days and we start going our separate ways, or they just want a fling. It's really hard to find romance in the LGBT world, I don't know why. Hope you're feeling better

I hope that you're not so down on yourself now. Every gay (and straight) person goes through this at some point. It is difficult to find a decent partner. You don't have any gay friends? That can't be good for your self-esteem. Depressed, I didn't have any gay friends so I joined a gay Pride committee and they made me the Second Chair. If you want a partner it is really important how you groom yourself. Always use a good antibacterial mouth wash before meeting a guy. It's the little things.

I swear it's way worse being a lesbian. Gay guys get loads of support from girls, and there's always a gay guy that another girl knows so it's way easier for them to find their other half.
Being a gay girl... just feels shitty. When my girlfriends (as in mates) talk about guys, or mess around and kiss when pissed i just feel like i'm not meant to be there. I've never met another gay girl. I know all teenagers say this but.. seriously noone understands.

A lot of people make poor choices that scars their live. Some people steal something and get caught, or others get caught dealing drugs. They probably should change their town, and live right. Look, relationships can be rough when you're straight as well. I'm disabled, so it wasn't easy trying to pick up women (they all tended to want the jock types, not the quirky guy in the chair.) It can really mess with the self confidence. So in a way, I know how you feel about failing to get a relationship struck up.
Being straight, I can't really say much except to wish you good luck. I'll echo vwestlife's comment about focusing on the things that make you happy.

At times I hate it too, but when I consider the positive aspects of my life, then it doesn't seem like such a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Especially today, just having a job, a car, and a roof over your head is something to be proud of!
