Joe Bonamassa,must be greatest blues player of all time.I have got recordings of all the great blues players from Son House, Robert johnson to the present.I think he knows how to interpret the feeling of the blues
Its going to be on my tombstone. "Once you've heard Bonamasa You won't go back." I know it doesn't ryme but hell its true and the first time I heard him was this concert on PBS.
I was slammed into the neighbores apartment as soon as he struck that first cord. Never turned away since.
I "discovered" JB on the 9th of this month. Saw him at the Paramount in Seattle on the 15th. Got the DVD of the RAH concert on the 18th. I thought this song had the most emotional energy ( and superlative licks ) of any in the setlist. And after watching the bus interview that was in the extra material in the DVD now I understand why. What an awesome blues song! I realized that I haven't listened to any other musical artist since the evening of the 9th..I suppose I'm a convert..happily so!
arghhh...Ouchhh....Ompsss... Mais il vient d'où ce géant ? C'est Joe fabulosum , enfant naturel de Fendson et Gibder , je suis sur que carlos, beck, Eric, buddy etc...doivent se chier dans les brailles devant un tel monstre sacré! bravissimo mister Bonamassa (chussets);
the first time i listen to this song was in that show of guitar center ina duet with steve luthaker..... when i heard the final solo.... joe not only absolutely trashed steve.... I realize it´s actually one of the best solos I´ve heard in mw whole life..... it´s spectacular....
God, I Love this man! I saw him live for the first time at the last show he did right before this performance for a very small crowd. I think my jaw dropped the entire night.
@oldlove21 So i guess you haven't hert clapton and bb king speak about bonamassa... When Joe was 17, bb king said that he was gonna be the greatest one day. And for me, it looks like he was right.
@DennisTheDane ~ actually when he was just 7 yrs old, BB saw him and was quoted saying "this kid hasn't scratched the surface" and at age 12 Joe opened for BB...just wanted to set the ages/timeline right...;)
I love it...view of crowd is priceless, i.e. at 2:11...crowd is so still and just looking up at Joe, sayin' holy sh*t, this guy is just f*ckn amazing...
I'm not saying Mayer's a bad player (far from it) but when it comes to originality Bonamassa has the edge. Mayer tries too hard in sounding like the greats who influenced him ie. clapton, hendrix, stevie ray. Joe's playing is a modern breath of fresh air.
Curse the woman who wounded you this bad Joe. But praise her at the same time for serving as the ultimate inspiration to write this truly astonishing masterpiece.
I saw him here in Hollywood Florida. If this guy is within 3 states of where you live. Go. My wife and I were absolutely blown away. His live DVD is the greatest compilation of guitar I have ever heard.
@jungasungonung dude what are you talking about. Are you crazy or something do you forget gary moore Albert cummings john lee hooker buddy guy bb king eric clapton stevie ray vaughn Albert king luther alison Otis rush and duan His not close to them of 20%
Other artists today may have more views on youtube, but none of them have no dislikes like Joe.

The best solo I have heard in years, maybe even ever as it ties perfectly with the lyrics and the meaning of the song. Masterpiece.
Thank you Joe - by the way I was born exactly one day before you!!
