I'm doing my Media Studies assignment on this case, 17 people made official complaints about this ad, saying it was not representative of the actual 3G load times. It was seen to contain edited footage and was ordered to "never be shown in its current condition again" !! .... everything I just said is 100% unexagerrated FACT !!! .... Hopefully we've all got the point now !!

In any case: I think this video would be much more convincing, if the audience could actually see what network type your iPhone was using (to confirm that it was via 3G, instead of E (EDGE) or Wi-Fi) to access the internet.
O give me a break you probably have something against apple in the first place, we all take it for granted when they show you "real time" things about electronics or internet they are either adding in a picture on the screen, or editing the video.
And if you look at the end of the video they usually have a notice telling you that some parts are cut out -- at least they do with the videos where they show apps being downloaded and used.

The speed of the 3G is dependent on where you arre, jackass. If you were in London or New York it probably would be that speed. For all we know you could be situated in the middle of nowhere.

Lol this was probably the only ads they edited. It's not true at all. Everything in the 3g ads are twice as fast than the actual 3g.
