i don't see the problem with having the dancing the same as the movie the choreography in the movie kick ass. The show i'm in now we are doing the same choreography and it looks amazing. This has no energy in it at all...the leads looked dead when they danced it through the first time.

1. Troy, Sharpay, Ryan and Gabriella sound terrible, they definitely needes more vocal practice.

2. The dance wasn't done correctly, and had no energy. It's 2 punches down to the right then 1 to the left then 4 alternating. Then, you don't raise your hands before dreams, and you lift both your hands up while singing 'reach' in 'when we reach we can fly know inside we can make it.' 2/5 ** for effort

Your Troy was trying some vocal tricks that were a little bit to advanced for him. Gabriella was pretty much yelling....her chest voice really needs some work. Ryan was...eh. Well, he sounded REALLY gay, but that is part of the character, sort of. He was fine. Sharpay had an interesting take on that little solo; I liked it. Hated her wig, but loved how she made her entrance! The wildcat cheer was...not the greatest, dance wise. But the flips w/ the basketball players were AWESOME!

Playing Ryan in our school's production of it. Only critiques I have are your ryan is too nasally, like a bit is fine but not that much...and ryan and sharpay shouldn't be in front with him early.

because 75% of it was copied from the movie.

it was the way that each and every actor on that stage looked drunk as they danced.

anyway. it was painful.

i have seen the stage show once and been it in at a professional level once, and seeing this makes me cringe.

you guys should check out "young actors' theatre" 's version of this, they have been the best yet, i saw them live and they were incredible but the video (that's on youtube so look it up) is ok but its still better than most :]
