  • Our position is thoroughly identified with the institution of slavery-- the greatest material interest of the world. Its labor supplies the product which constitutes by far the largest and most important portions of commerce of the earth.

A Declaration of the Immediate Causes which Induce and Justify the Secession of the State of Mississippi from the Federal Union

  • @HUNTER112394 And where the hell are you getting the idea that Maryland lacks southern plant life, if you knew anything about planting zones you would know that the majority of Maryland is in zone 7 which includes half of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Texas. Sounds real northern... LMAO And I know plenty of people from the deep south who recognize Maryland as southern. just look up the league of the south which is about as soutern as can get... Maryland has a chapter

  • @HUNTER112394 I will tell people up and down that MD is not southern. The majority of Marylanders do not consider themselves southern. At a university in GA there were people from the northeast including MD that always said "You guys are so country". California also has a chapter in the league of the south does that make California southern too? The League of the south is just an extremist racist group that no one takes seriously in the first place. (c)

  • @HUNTER112394 Go to Georgia's cities (Savannah, Macon, Valdosta, Atlanta) and Maryland cities (Annapolis, La Plata, Waldorf, Salisbury) and see what place looks and feels more southern. I guess Maryland history could be considered southern, but now MD is purely northeastern. Maryland is heavily democratic and one of the most densely populated states. MD has more in common with NJ, PA, NY, CT etc than it does with SC, AL, TN or GA. If anything MD is considered Mid-Atlantic.Dixie does not claim MD

  • That's a good cleansing if you ask me.

  • Fuck Central Authority. Maryland belongs to it's people.

  • God Bless Maryland, I've always considered her a Southern State as I do "Western" Virginia which was wrongfully and ilegally torn away from the rest of the "Old Dominion" by the invading yankee army and carpet baggers... God Bless Dixie!

  • Again Maryland is NOT southern. Who the hell taught you geography. Maryland is just like New Jersey, they don't have accents, they don't have pine forests like they do in Georgia, and they sure as hell cannot make sweet tea. If anyone is in doubt go to Baltimore and see how "southern" it is. You will be in for a surprise. The REAL south is Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Maryland fought for the UNION therefore yall are YANKEES. nuff said

  • @xxmoonliight Again, have you ever been to Maryland? Maryland has nothing in common with New Jersey. You can ask anyone from Maryland or New Jersey and they'll tell you that. Also, no one who is native to Maryland talks anything like people from New Jersey. If you want to know about Maryland you have to go other places then Baltimore. Even I will say that Baltimore is no longer southern, it has been taken over. But go to the eastern shore, southern Maryland or Western Maryland and (continued)

  • @HUNTER112394 it is southern. Listen to anyone from the Eastern shore talk and you'll hear the accent and it sure as hell aint northern. And just to let you know, Maryland does have pine forests. The whole eastern shore is nothing but farms and pine forests. And if you learned any history you'll now that Maryland was not Union, it was neutral. Maryland was the only state to pay pentions for both Union and Confederate soldiers. Over 25,000 marylanders served in the Confederate army. Need I go on?

  • @HUNTER112394 No no no. You have it all wrong. A survey showed that only less than 20% of marylanders consider themselves to be southerners. Maryland is one the richest states in the Union. Maryland is ultra liberal. Maryland lacks southern plant life. Most Marylanders consider themselves Northeastern. Have you been to the DC suburbs in Maryland? Not southern at all! The Mason Dixon line is far outdated line to separate the north and south and that was not it's original purpose.

  • @xxmoonliight Who the hell do you think you are telling me I have it all wrong when I've lived in Maryland my whole life????? YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO THE TRUE PART OF MARYLAND SO QUIT IT WITH YOUR DUMB MADE UP STATISTCS AND IDEAS!!!!!!!! I could go to Virginia's DC suburbs and say the same thing but I'm smart enough to know that just because one part of a state is yankee doesnt mean that the whole state is.

  • @HUNTER112394 You do have it wrong. Stop trying to make Maryland into something it is not. I have family in Maryland and being a Georgia girl I did NOT feel at home. My family that lives there are also from Ga and do not feel at home. The true part of Maryland? I've been to St. Mary's county and still did not get a southern vibe,. Rural? Yes. Southern? No. I would say that VA as a whole is "southern-lite". Most of the real southern states have managed to preserve their culture, Maryland has not.

  • @HUNTER112394 Well said!And I agree!

  • @HUNTER112394 Maryland looks just like New Jersey. Same northern rudeness in Maryland like in New Jersey. Montana is more "southern" than Maryland, lol. Tell anyone from the deep south that you are a "southerner" and from MARYLAND AND YOU WILL GET LAUGHED AT! No one in the real southern states claims Maryland. I think you have rural and southern mixed up. Maryland is a Yankee state through and through.

  • @xxmoonliight The big cities tend to be more yankee anyhow. I'm from Oklahoma, and not everyone has a noticeable southern accent, but our accent isn't the same within the state, and neither is it the same as the accent in California or New York or Minnesota. There isn't one accent. But there are other aspects of language and culture that are very southern there. It's dangerous to generalize.

  • @xxmoonliight you are an idiot! do you think balt is the whole state i can tell you have never been to maryland dumbass we 3 different accents and we are nothing like new jersey sounds like you need a geography class in western MD we have nothing but forest pines and 5 of my uncles fought for the south and i have proof now that you had youer proper educated class of the day nuff said

  • LOL, you dumb bastids.

The south took over the whole country after the civil war. After the war southerners moved north, east, and west to find jobs. They took with them love of country, love of family, fried chicken, and great music. They taught Americans everywhere how to love freedom and be real men and women. God bless ALL Americans everywhere.

  • Comment removed

  • @jazzy4887 Amen, them damn yankees are taking over. They have almost completely taken over Maryland except for the good ol' eastern shore and southern Maryland and they're working on Virginia now. It's makes me sick too.

  • Maryland is the South.......... I'd know. It's where I live and grew up

  • Just a couple of typos that you may wish to correct:

Cleansing - you misspelled as "clensing"

    Always- you misspelled as "allways"

    I hope this helps.

  • Yeah I'm from Florida and cultural cleansing is happening there too. Luckily here in northeastern Florida, it's still very Southern. I can't stand it when other Southerners say that Florida isn't Southern anymore. Most of them will at least admit that northern Florida is basically south Georgia and therefore Southern(the joke in Jacksonville is that it's the biggest city in South Georgia).

  • yeah i know how you feel men i am from pensacola and its basically southern alabama here. i went on vactaion to orlando 2 times i wnet in 2008 it was like being in a difrant country no body spoke a lick of english 10 year befor that i went down there and every body spoke english

  • Damn Yankee industrialists and imperialists!

  • Personally, I would support Maryland's cultural connection with the South fully, but remember that state is quite unique. Maryland, known for its even, not quite Northern but not quite Southern ways and identity, should have been allowed to freely choose by popular vote whether to secede or not. Martial law courtesy of 'the Great Emancipator' stopped that dead, though. I would have willingly accepted Maryland staying in the Union, but only if it was by the free majority vote of the people.

  • Hold your ground Maryland. You proved your worth many times over during the war and since!!

    Long live Dixie!!!

  • GOD BLESS, DIXIE!

    DEO VINDICE!

    LONG LIVE THE REBELLION!

  • I am from MD's younger AA population.. str8 outta North Baltimore. MD is def the south.. I am southern in every way possible; you can tell by listening to me talk. All I have to do is go one state away.. DE or PA and they are in awe in how close I live to them but how genuinely southern I sound.

  • That is a typical yankee response. Have you even been to Maryland?

  • Even the "US Census Bureau" classifies Maryland as part of the region defined as "the South" - try to learn a little bit about your own land, ma'am. And that's coming from a Mississippi boy, from that state that kept the Confederate Battle Flag - while some other state, that shall remain nameless, surrendered its flag to political correctness. Yeah, if it's below the Mason Dixon line, and east of Texas, it is South. By the way, J.W.Booths is from Maryland and he was maybe the greatest Southron.

  • @HUNTER112394

    great video!!

    Deo Vindice ! from Tennessee

  • @HUNTER112394 Im not from Maryland im from Missouri. and I can tell you right now, maryland is most certainly southern. everything about it. Deo Vindice and be proud of your state and the south !

  • Thanx for the video I am from rural Anne Arundel County, true Maryland we have drawls and fly stars and bars

  • Is it worse than the cleansing of Florida? If so that is shocking to say the least. Although in north Florida there are many good counties.

  • I would say it is, only because Maryland is a small state and the effect of liberal Baltimore and Washington has a greater impact on the state. But I would say that Maryland and Florida are in very similar situations.

  • It sure looks like it. I'm sorry to hear that. It's definitely so bad that before meeting people like ya'll on youtube, I didn't think they had any Southerners left in Maryland. Which is what people think of Florida. Gets frustrating when fellow Southerners say it. I'll show them a few counties around here that'll change their minds reak quick. = )

  • I lived in Jacksonville Fla for about 10 years... I was raised in north Georgia about 40 miles north of Atlanta. I was Born in Corpus Christi Texas. I now live in Maryland... I love southern culture... It is in my blood. And I consider north eastern Florida more like southern Georgia... And down here in St Mary's county one of the most conservative parts of Maryland) is one of the best places in MD to live... Or around Hagerstown...

  • Indeed, Maryland and the other sovereign States of the Southland are under attack - culturally, politically, economically, etc. Still, that doesn't change who and what we are - we're Southrons! Clinging to our culture and resisting this evil are key to our survival as a people. Thanks kindly for sharing this video as well - please do keep on speaking the truth!
