I found your link on Stellan's page (a.k.a. "fishboy"). You mentioned that you wrote the same with your mouth as you did with your hands on the 5th page of the Comments and Responses section for this video. I have read some literature on this topic and found it fascinating. It was my belief that you might like to know that this has been proven and your hypothesis was correct.

I love uncomfortable paintings. They expose that which is hidden within the corners of our souls. It is true what you said about your handwriting being the same even if you no longer can use your hands. Studies have been done and proven that how you write comes from your mind and expose who we really are. People who lose their hands and write with the mouth or feet will eventually start to write the way they did with their hands. It is a very interesting subject to study.

As far as attempting mouth painting goes, I wholly encourage you to try! Who's to say painting should only be done with one's hands right? As far as I'm concerned, painting with my mouth is an evolution of painting, an evolution of expression. Technique is just a method. The art is already in ME, within US. We should all try different ways of letting it out!!

You can do things with paint and fine detail (especially penciling with your mouth) that I can't even dare to attempt with scribbled crosshatching. Genius. Good looks. And great Radiohead music. Yowza!

this was awsome. reminds me of a reportage of a man that was suffering from parkinson and wasn't able to sit still or move cordinated, only when he painted pictures he could controll the brush. same with you painting only with your head (you cheated though on the dipping the brush into the colour part ^^)

what I am trying to say: our body is not the limitation, but our mind. don't realy know why I had this association but I hope it gets "well" to you (:

no, our bodies don't have to be our limitation. An interesting note: my 'handwriting' is the same with my mouth as it used to be with my hands. I think this is proof that some expressions come from somewhere deeper than our physicality. Thanx for watching Matthias xox.
