we have the T2000, and it works pretty good too! great for VCT, or AVCT. We do asbestos removal, As well as floor and de-construction. However that being said, did you look at some of the demonstration? looks a liltle staged for me, like the swath of carpet was larger then the blade. the edges looked too clean. We always have fraying, have to be careful, with loading the center caster with carpet yarn. overall a decent machine, but has some design flaws.

porcelain tile will kill the head.
