  • Who wants to b a producer??

  • I love the Matthew Broderick one better!!

  • 2 people are very very very very very very very unhappy

  • I love the producers movie. Seriously. I might just make a one woman band and sing these songs to myself..hopefully without appearing insane.

  • wow great song!

  • My favorite! I like the stage version better than the cut-up movie! Good post!!

  • you *are* a CPA! A certified public ASSHOLE!

  • so amazing to hear the broadway versions..... thanks a bunch!

  • Saw it live in Sydney and fell in love with it. This is my favourite musical ever!!

  • I love this musical so much!

  • Unhappy, unhappy...oh, THIS VID REALLY REALLY MAKES ME SO HAPPY!

  • its just the best..

  • Why do people keep comparing Broderick and Wilder? One was a movie and the other was an actual musical all the way through. They were two completely different portrayals of the same character and I personally loved both of them. I'm sure Gene Wilder would have rocked the shit singing because he has vocals but the original MOVIE didn't call for that. In The original 1968, Bialystock stood out more to me while in 2005 it was more Blooms film/musical. Idk just my opinion.

  • @doryslovespeace I Agree. Gene Wilder has a great voice, but I suppose because I am used to Broderick I could not imagine Wilde in the musical. Do not get me wrong! I loved the original film, but the charater changed alot.

  • @awbananna I agree, the 1968 version portrayed Bloom as an guy good only at accounting and completely socially withdrawn, comparatively Mattew Broderick's Bloom comes off more as a very sheltered and smart young man that's just always played it safe and never even tried to do anything but accounting, but secretly WANTS to be more. In essence its the difference between a man becoming more of a man and a boy in a man's body becoming a complete man. Also, I liked Jon Lovitz Mr. Marks.

  • i love this film :)

  • they should be, they are great actors/singers

  • are broderick and lane often in the same shows?

  • @spinynorman230 hmm...

Timone and Simba ring any bells?

  • @ImperialGamerx Umm... do you mean Timone and Pumba? (also Pumba's played by Ernie Sabella)

  • @POPNFRESH271 ...No, Simba was played by Matthew Broderick. Really now...

  • @spinynorman230 sometimes

  • i like the jazzy big band style bits

  • i love this movie. other than ferris buhlers day off this is my fav mathew brodrick movie

  • i totally agree

whenever i see a mathew broderick moview, i'm like 'i GOTTA see that!!!'

  • the only one i saw of him that i was a bit skeptical of is the stepford wives but that wasnt his fault it was the person who created it.

  • Matthew boderick has always been leo, even in the orginal broadway production

  • Not in the original 1968 production of "The Producers". Look it up.

  • but the 1968 version was not in a musical format and could be considered two seperate films and shows, i have seen both but personally prefere the musical version, and in reference to mattew boderick being leo was to the musical production and not he film.

  • I realize that, but I was just addressing the fact that you thought, or it sounded like you thought, that there was no previous productions of the movie before the Broadway show or the 2005 version.

  • ... Wasn't that not a musical anyway? I mean, I don't know exactly when that one was made, but I know the straight one was sometime in the sixties.

  • Gene wilder is way better than the new one

  • no the new one is way better the acting casting is way better. sides i am a big mathew brodrick fan

  • before i saw this movie i never thought matthew broderick could sing, but he definately proved me wrong and now im downloading his song on my ipod :D

  • did you not watch lion king as a kid matthew broderick is adult simba

  • OOOH really, i didn't know that i love the lion king

  • Are you sure? ...Oh wait. You could be right!

  • yea also he was singing in other movies before that such as ferris buhlers day off

  • mathew brodrick's acting in this movie was pretty bland but his singing and dancing was phenomanal

  • I think his acting was pretty good for the character, given the character's bland personality. In other movies he's wonderful, so I think it was less an error or a sub-par performance on his part and more of a character choice.

  • I don't really think so. I think his character lacks the neurotic-ism needed to portray Leo. Gene Wilder had it, that Jewishness to him. Matthew Broderick just doesn't have it.

  • i prefer the movie soundtrack more than the broadway version. but hey thats me

  • i like the beginning unhappy

  • I'm playing Leo Bloom in July!

  • where?

  • Bay Area Harbour Playhouse in Dickinson, TX

  • Thats awesom!

  • Sweet! Break a Leg!

  • I WANNA BE A PRODUCER!!!!!:))

  • i saw this last night and i thought it was awsome!

  • The play is so much better

  • The original movie is so much better. But, I did love this movie. Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane, how could it not be great?

  • I LOOOVVVVEEE THIS SONG!

  • Gotta say that this is the most "normal" song in the Producers.
