  • @NaNa00CaNdY: In cyclic compounds the C-C bond takes up 2 of the available 4 bonds for each carbon atom. Therefore, each carbon atom can only bond to 2 hydrogen atoms. Therefore, in cycloalkanes, you get a formula of CnH(2n).
