J'ai enfin trouvé la version intégrale, non trouquée, mais sur fond d'image fixe, un peu du genre "carte postale" (un couchez de soleil avec cocotier) et le son y est de meilleure qualité qu'ici. Ce clip est simplement intitulé "Edith Lefel" et celui qui l'a mis en ligne se prénomme Algerien78. Un mémorable moment de Zouk en tous cas et pas si retro que ça !

Une musique qu'on oublie pas. Que de bons souvenirs sur ce Zouk, mais il me semble bien que la version originale durait plus longtemps, on dirait bien que le morceau est coupé au début de la deuxième partie. Ne pourrait-on pas avoir la version intégrale ?

It's funny you mentioned Kadens Rampa. That was ALSO originated from Konpa! lol. Weber Sicot created Kadens Rampa after Konpa, and was actually seen performing WITH Nemours Jean Baptiste (One of the founders of Konpa). Jacob Desvarieux (co-founder of Kassav) acknowledges the the strong influence of konpa music/musicians in creating the unique sound Kassav has produce.

I never said zouk is Haitian. I said zouk originated from Konpa. Konpa has been around since the early 50's. Zouk was created in the late 70's and yet they share a definite similar sound!
