So apparently what you guys are saying is being a gymnast is gay lol. So the sport of gymnastics is gay as well. Even though gymnastics has been here way before bboying was, and bboying copied some of these moves to make there style better, you guys criticize them on looking gay? That's horrible I pay respect to all the different dance cultures that has inspired bboy to what is it now, no matter how gay, or uninteresting it looks. Without it bboy would be plain and boring.

morgan hamm did not invent the airflare and he is not even very fast with it.

the move has been around much longer than he has been doing it, and has been perfected by bboys around the world, with many variations, including the elbow, forearm, piked, lotus, and other kinds of airflare.

for instance, BBoy "The Iron Shrimp" Yan is much more experienced with this move.

Hamm is also very slow at the hop in the airflare. Yan, on the other hand, has piked, elbow, forearm, and lotus airflares which have no pause in the hop.

I marked the day when this video came up, and it was much later than others.

Airflare began beeing used when people started to see the resemblance of the leg movement in the air, but that's it, they do not share any level of technique. One huge difference between them is that in bboy flares, the rotation is more consistent whereas in gymnast flares there's that weird "snap" motion when you get to the back half. No disrespect, but it's just personal aesthetic preference.
