Large difference between runescape and guildwars, runescape ruined itself by listening to the 12 year olds that play it, and you can't compare a browser game to a download/disc game. And on top of that they are completely different concepts, but yes, runescape has sucked hard for about 2 years now.
@SeriousSerbian No you dont need Nightfall to install EotN, having Prophecies or Faction will allow you to install it, but their is a item from Nightfall that you need to finish a quest in their.
@SeriousSerbian you just need to have one of the stand alone campaings. I refering to prophecies, factions or nightfall. Once you have one of those you just need to add the EothN to the account that you already have.

Awesome video! I used one site for the last 2 weeks to buy Guild Wars Trilogy and it was actually pretty easy and fast to do. I didn't invest one penny into the site and I was surprised it was legit and worked and I got paid! I bought the game on eBay with the money I made. If you want the game and don't want to spend money of your own check out my vid, and you too can earn money online to buy GW or whatever you want! I'm serious though, it worked. I have payment proofs.
mmorpg: you can see, and speak with random ppls everywhere. corpg: you can leave the starting areas with a group, but you cant find other ppls outside. So....
True its free. But you can forget weekly server maintances, monthly patches, new items, achievments, tournament and arena gameplay, new dungeons, new parts of game world, 24h services, ingame surprizes, etc etc:) True its not pay2play, its a simple game:)

Ok, i dont sad its not true...but. WoW has: patches, and they are not only about bug fixing. New places, areas, monsters, raids, and instances. New gears, tear1-2-3... new pvp areas, new battlegrounds. In every year we have new events, and all the olds to. Etc etc. I belive , GW is a good game, but WoW is still the best mmo, and GW is still a good corpg.
WoW has a very good and complex storyline by the way, and it does make more sense than the guild wars. Don't get me wrong, i love both games, but guild wars kinda had a storyline with charr then went into the white mantle, and then we did factions and nightfall which had nothing to do with charr and ascolon, then we had eotn. finally putting us back on track with the charr and ascolon. WoWs storyline has been straight forward since it was started. and it came out pretty epic in my opinion.
I agree with both of you, I think wow´s ´´storyline´´ is worse than guild wars´ but the expansions really don´t fit in there, they should instead have focused on the story of the first game released like eotn

I remember seeing a clip in the game where it shows your character behind her as a child but I can't remember what area it is linked to (eg. ebon vangard clips, Scrying pool clips etc etc), either that or I imagined it :P

I play both GW and WoW, they are both good in diffrent ways. I like WoW graphics it is slightly cartoonish but then again, who cares? And in GW you cant even jump or swim, that really pisses me off. They are both better in diffrent ways.
In the fight between wow and guild wars. Both have their pro's and cons I'm sure. Wow has extreme re-playability and a HUGE storyline. It has kept people attentions for years and you dont have to buy a new expansion every time they bring out new dungeons or quest strings. From what I understand it's the opposite for Guildwars. You have to buy the expansions to get the new content. Wow might be $15 a month but it's a constantly evolving story. And it's great! IDK about GW. But to me, Wow is tops!

I´d say that the real "fight" will be between GW2, Star Trek Online and Warhammer Online. Warhammer Online continously sucks up the elder gamers who lost joy of WoW when they turned the game into easymode. And the PvP in WAR is working which is dead-important. PvE can develop but PvP is connected directly to the gaming system. Personally i´m trying up Guild Wars to get known with PvP, after that i might return to WAR to support Destruction, since 1.2 they have been leeched by Order.
WoW has no replayability.Pretty much as much as Guild wars.Personally I say Guild wars is better.They may not add stuff as fast, but the game is more inducing in the story. Blizzard sorta messed up the story with the transition from Warcraft 3 to WoW.Lore was messed with a lot.I used to play WoW and I say its good for a mmorpg and its addictive and fun, but starts to repeat itself with the constant similar quests.Both have Pros and Cons though.Like WoW is updated more with content than GW.
In my point of view wow have no hugh storyline compared to Guildwars. You play as an unnamed hero in wow and grind exp to lvl so that you can build up a story Avatar
On the other hand Guild wars actually have a storyline the player actually feel more connected to the story throughout missions and quests.

Yes. When they said it was free to play they meant it.
And they now have a pack you can buy to get all 3 campaigns for 50 dollars and the expansion is an extra 15. Unless you sit around doing nothing but playing guild wars all day long it will take you months to play through all of the missions and quests that are available. For the amount you spend vs the play time you get it is a VERY good investment.
GW is still free. I've had it since it came out, and i have yet to pay anything other than what i paid at the store.
Unlike WoW, if you choose to have a couple of months where you don't play GW, you won't get penalized for it. With WoW, you have to pay, each month, regardless of if you play it or not.
I had GW for 3 years without playing it while at University. If i had WoW during the same period, i would've paid a subscription fee for nothing.
ive tried one of those WoW 14-day trials, and got bored (and hated it very much) in the first hour. I only tried it because everyone said it was like the best game ever, which it wasnt.
Then, i tried Guild Wars, because i had a preorder box from years ago, and everyone wanted me to play it too. And, its a very awesome game, i almost have 100 hours on it.
And my most favorite thing, is that Guild Wars is free to play forever, unlike WoW.

Cool. The main thing that really mattered to me, was that WoW had "cartoonish, over-exaggerated" characters, and the polygon count was low. And in guild wars, the characters had a decent polygon count, didnt look cartoonish, didnt look over-exaggerated, and had a good body-part ratio overall, which made all the characters perfect (I have a girl character ;) )
GW2 will take GW's strong points and WoW's strong points, merging them to make a brilliant game (that is if it ever comes out, looks like it isnt atm...)

yes eye of the noreth is the best one i completed all it is the best one then nightfall then factions then profecies (profecies sucks) so you probably didnt like it because you didnt do the missions yourself and they power levelled u :)
There wouldn't be guild wars without prophecies, You don't need a power leveler unless your THAT lazy. Does it matter if your not level 20 till the desert? If you get a run to droks it should only be for max armor, not power leveling. A waste of money and time which could be better spent fighting yourself. You didn't do the missions yourself? You need players to help you, henchmen do not always work. IMO prophecies has the best story out of all the games.
Maybe because you can only meet people in the cities, maybe because my frends forced me to buy it and then tried to power level me.
I bought Factions, but didn't like it. But when I watched this trailer for the first time, I got captivated. It looks amazing. I never bought it though, but when I watch the trailer now, again, it looks just as amazing as it did half a year ago.

Ok plz stop the gw vs. wow arguements. both have their pros and cons. Plus there 2 different types of mmos. It's like comparing a rock to sand. There made up of the same thing but just too different to say one is better (well bad analogy but you get the point).
guild wars is more co-operative play than WoW so its hard to compare. GW or WoW sux argument doesnt work they should atleast state why they suck etc? and yeah its good its 20 i dont have to level 200000000 times to reach my goal.. ^^
well the level 20 cap also gives newer and inexperienced players (such as myself, gettin it on christmas and now level 16) a fighting chance against the veterans who've been playing it for years
ive played wow, but it was a trial, and guild wars is much better. it actually takes strategy instead of cast this, whack a few times, cast again, whack a few times. guild wars atually lets affect the field and yourself/party to increase your chances of winning

dude,u shuld the articles about gw2 more carefully. they wont add a level cap,they said it might be infinite but it wont affect health/energy/etc, itll only give u attribute skills just like in gw. Guidl Wars 2 wont be anything like WoW,they only wanted to add more content and some of their ideas(including persistent world). i have in arenanet and u shuld too,they never let us down b4.

No, WoW doesn't have any storyline. It's just a game based on Warcraft 3 TFT's Storyline.
Factions and Nightfall didn't have anything to do with Prophecies. Surprise, diffirent campaigns.
EoTN is the only expansion btw.

You have to buy the expansions to get the new content. Wow might be $15 a month but it's a constantly evolving story. And it's great! IDK about GW. But to me, Wow is tops!

I´d say that the real "fight" will be between GW2, Star Trek Online and Warhammer Online. Warhammer Online continously sucks up the elder gamers who lost joy of WoW when they turned the game into easymode. And the PvP in WAR is working which is dead-important. PvE can develop but PvP is connected directly to the gaming system. Personally i´m trying up Guild Wars to get known with PvP, after that i might return to WAR to support Destruction, since 1.2 they have been leeched by Order.

WoW has no replayability.Pretty much as much as Guild wars.Personally I say Guild wars is better.They may not add stuff as fast, but the game is more inducing in the story. Blizzard sorta messed up the story with the transition from Warcraft 3 to WoW.Lore was messed with a lot.I used to play WoW and I say its good for a mmorpg and its addictive and fun, but starts to repeat itself with the constant similar quests.Both have Pros and Cons though.Like WoW is updated more with content than GW.

In my point of view wow have no hugh storyline compared to Guildwars. You play as an unnamed hero in wow and grind exp to lvl so that you can build up a story Avatar
On the other hand Guild wars actually have a storyline the player actually feel more connected to the story throughout missions and quests.

Yes. When they said it was free to play they meant it.
And they now have a pack you can buy to get all 3 campaigns for 50 dollars and the expansion is an extra 15. Unless you sit around doing nothing but playing guild wars all day long it will take you months to play through all of the missions and quests that are available. For the amount you spend vs the play time you get it is a VERY good investment.

GW is still free. I've had it since it came out, and i have yet to pay anything other than what i paid at the store.
Unlike WoW, if you choose to have a couple of months where you don't play GW, you won't get penalized for it. With WoW, you have to pay, each month, regardless of if you play it or not.
I had GW for 3 years without playing it while at University. If i had WoW during the same period, i would've paid a subscription fee for nothing.

ive tried one of those WoW 14-day trials, and got bored (and hated it very much) in the first hour. I only tried it because everyone said it was like the best game ever, which it wasnt.
Then, i tried Guild Wars, because i had a preorder box from years ago, and everyone wanted me to play it too. And, its a very awesome game, i almost have 100 hours on it.
And my most favorite thing, is that Guild Wars is free to play forever, unlike WoW.

Cool. The main thing that really mattered to me, was that WoW had "cartoonish, over-exaggerated" characters, and the polygon count was low. And in guild wars, the characters had a decent polygon count, didnt look cartoonish, didnt look over-exaggerated, and had a good body-part ratio overall, which made all the characters perfect (I have a girl character ;) )

GW2 will take GW's strong points and WoW's strong points, merging them to make a brilliant game (that is if it ever comes out, looks like it isnt atm...)
WoW was just as good as GW prophecies (the best one imo) until Wrath of the Lich King xpac...

There wouldn't be guild wars without prophecies, You don't need a power leveler unless your THAT lazy. Does it matter if your not level 20 till the desert? If you get a run to droks it should only be for max armor, not power leveling. A waste of money and time which could be better spent fighting yourself. You didn't do the missions yourself? You need players to help you, henchmen do not always work. IMO prophecies has the best story out of all the games.

Maybe because you can only meet people in the cities, maybe because my frends forced me to buy it and then tried to power level me.
I bought Factions, but didn't like it. But when I watched this trailer for the first time, I got captivated. It looks amazing. I never bought it though, but when I watch the trailer now, again, it looks just as amazing as it did half a year ago.
Now to my question: Is Eye of the North really as good as it looks in this trailer?

GWs pvp is wonderful and atleast balanced.
guild wars is more co-operative play than WoW so its hard to compare. GW or WoW sux argument doesnt work they should atleast state why they suck etc? and yeah its good its 20 i dont have to level 200000000 times to reach my goal.. ^^

ive played wow, but it was a trial, and guild wars is much better. it actually takes strategy instead of cast this, whack a few times, cast again, whack a few times. guild wars atually lets affect the field and yourself/party to increase your chances of winning

im pretty sure that after lvl 20 u stop getting atrribute points, lvling past 20 is only to show others how far you've progressed in the game. correct me if im wrong.

dude,u shuld the articles about gw2 more carefully. they wont add a level cap,they said it might be infinite but it wont affect health/energy/etc, itll only give u attribute skills just like in gw. Guidl Wars 2 wont be anything like WoW,they only wanted to add more content and some of their ideas(including persistent world). i have in arenanet and u shuld too,they never let us down b4.
