  • @RandomConcepts What are you talking about? Have you not heard anything about the Marcellus Shale?

  • @210482fmj- So if all of the jobs done by machinery and vehicle are done by people only it will be great? And if oil runs out it will be great? Look around you. EVERYTHING you see was brought by truck. Your clothes, your food, your computer that you are now typing on, your forks and spoons, your books and movies, etc. ALL come off of a truck. And your pens and ANYTHING made of plastic, paints, makeup, guitar strings, capsules for pills, bicycle tires, microchips ALL come from oil.

  • I agree. animation was great

  • @crudeoilsystems - Thanks again for the comment. This particular animation was a nightmare to produce. However with the newer software I switched to it's easy now.

  • Hi! It's a great video... do you have some of matrix stimulation? please it will be very helpful.

  • i thought there must be a fold to substances (water, oil and gas) being disposed according their density.

  • Great animation - do you have anything like this for the steam flood process?

  • @limecity99

No I don't. What is the steam flood process? I've never heard of it. Could you suggest where to look for info? Thanks.

  • Many times they use injection wells, to help push along oil or gas to pumps. I've only seen water (brine) injections wells. I have seen some that heat the water before hand, but not closely. Very interesting stuff, to me anyway.

  • what's mean ?

  • From my understanding, Primary Recovery is when you are producing oil using the natural pressure from the reserve, pushing the oil to the surface, whereas Secondary Recovery is when the oil begins to deplete (pressure difference occurs) and CO2 injection (or other methods) are used to help bring the remaining oil up through the well.

  • Why all of these videos with absolutely no explanation?

  • The method of oil recovery is most wonderful , but also , when the engineers didn't make the true point of drilling towards inside trap ,where oil accumulated , that occur more activities

  • I would like to get in touch with aoldham29 to see about doing some videos for our company. We are an oilfield servicing company specializing in advanced oil recovery. I showed my boss this video and we want to see if you could make one for us. Thanks!

  • is this "primary recovery"?

  • For normal enhanced oil recovery methods like steam flooding, why doesn't the crude oil combust under that heat?

  • @jerzkid87 there no oxygen required for combustion in underground rocks.

  • @jerzkid87 no oxgyn

  • The formation is being hit by both water and C02 gas. This process is called Wagging. Secondary methods of recovering oil and gas. Although the gas being recovered is not actually sold, it is stripped of h2s and other hydrocarbons via a glycol process at the plant. The C02 is re-injected into the well. Hopes this clears up some of what is going on here. Thanks,

  • @ Broshka1:

Yes the blue is water being forced in and the yellow is gas. Hope that helps.

  • Hi, is it a waterflood in blue color? Yellow steam or gas? Thanks in advance!

  • i wish if u could annotate the process

  • Hi, is there a way that I can download this video ? Cheers !
