Nick you and EJE665 have filmed alot of trains in this area! and i want to know why they are honking through here now?. has the quiet zone being lifted through here? whats going on? not even in the days of the BN did they honk anywere on the 38 mile strech of track here.

I've been wondering that myself ever since they started honking a lot lately. I've asked folks who live in town and they don't know either. I'm going to guess that something must have happened at the crossing, such as an accident, but then I wonder if that would even warrant a lifting of the whistle ban.
