My wife and I drove down the coast from Half Moon Bay to San Simeon on May 8th. Wildflowers were everywhere, and it was a vision of paradise. If I had to choose one Moody Blues album, it would be On the Threshhold of a Dream, although I love all seven of the 1967-1972 albums. It was great how each one of them wrote great songs.
Good day to all of my fellow Christians, firstly my apology for being out of topic. I came here to remind you people that the judgment day has started already. I urge you my fellow Christians to depart from all form of unchristian conduct lest you be found not worthy to inter the kingdom of God in the Day of Execution. Please do not misinterpret my activity as spam; I did not do it for that purpose.
Threshold of a Dream is by far my all time favorite Moody Blues album. It is the most underated and overlooked album they ever did. It is different and special. I rank it as one of the best progressive rock albums I have ever heard and it is a staple of every reason why I love progressive rock. Along with Songs from the Wood by Jetrho Tull,Sellng England by the Pound by Genesis, and various Pink FLoyd albums, this album is right there as one of my favorites in prog rock or any kind of rock.
The Moodies are awesome! I've spent many a starry night out in the Desert grooving on their words and tunes. Thanks for posting this! BTW, this area (Big Sur) got toasted in one of the recent fires in California. :(
For those who dig this Big Sur / Moody Blues vid, I posted a video response above linking another similar one I shot along the Central CA coast during the same journey. Enjoy.....
