there is someone that does that break like that unsupported and he does 3 boards with spacers, check it out at jeffmazzucco1, let me know what you think
I was holding the boards and it was real. I've seen this guy do spear-hands with 2 unspaced boards. I've known Mark since grade school and he's a great guy.
Very patiently. It takes hand conditioning, which if nothing else builds your confidence to strike hard. It also takes good technique, speed, and power. Strike lightly everyday and eventually you will get there, be patient. Work with a humble instructor. Never give up.
Or the throat/neck region.. a knockout for sure. Crushed trachea and even ruptured arteries can result from something like this. Imagine someone who did not brace themselves for such a strike. Check out the video Uechi Ryu Breaking ... some advanced striking and it just shows you how high level this TKD guy is.
AWESOME!

Very nice. No prep, just hit. And with an advanced technique. Impressive.

Looked like a closed fist ridge hand to me. Can you get a better camera angle? I'm not sure the thumb hit before the side of the wrist did.

I agree. He should try the break without support of the fingers around the joint... like a hitchhiker thumb break!

In that case. Amazing. How the heck would you even train for that break?
