Hey qbking im having a problem with the newest syndicate frozen rom and my problem is everytime i try to call someone i get an error saying "the application google services framework (processcom.google.process.gap­ps) has stopped unexpedectedly please try again. i tryed restoring to an older good version but i still get the same error. what you reccomend i should do? thank you and you are the best i swear!~~!!!

@ChaldoPrince04 Go to settings/ applications/ manage/all and clear data out of any app that is force closing.

"Root was not obtained after 60 seconds. Make sure the phone is connected and that adb is working. If adb shell isn't root, reboot the phone and try the script again."

@soojinhappy Possibly. I'd recommend using the newer version to one root.. the 3.0.2.5 way.. I made a video, it's the same process. But if that happens, you can try rebooting the phone and rebooting your pc. It very well might be because of the cable.

Once I am on rooted stock, what do I need to do to get the wifi tethering to work? I got the wifi tether app strom the market place but it says something about needing a net filter kernel. Where do I get this? Can you even flash kernels on stock root? Thank you

Hi, I ran the Odin process you recommended to get me to stock Froyo (EC05). That worked flawlessly. Now that I am trying the one click root, I get an error when I run the Run.Bat file. The error is: "rageagainstthecage-arm5.bin is missing".

Any suggestions?

@qisrankedeleven No it won't mess up your phone you just won't be able to update it. You'll have to odin back to stock to get the OTA update.

@ttk1opc Yep. All you have to do is run one click root 3.0.0.6 after you root with 2.5.5. Works fine.

You click on the zip file and click extract. Then extract it to your desktop. Then go to your desktop, click on the folder and install the drivers.

@qbking77 i got it...i just deleted the first one i donwloaded and eventually it worked...took me a couple downloads, but then the "extract here" button worked. Now my phone is rooted something I thought I could never do. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

I completely understand.....make a 'master' video explaining the basics, at the end provide the relevant video link for which process someone is trying to achieve. YouTube has enough videos that are several minutes long containing but 30 seconds of actual relevant info. This video should be about 40 seconds long at most.

Why did no useful info start until 1:20 in? Talk and work.....better yet, just record the process, and then add clear concise voice over. Leave tips tricks etc for the short write up. We could do without "uhs" "ums" etc.... Keep it pithy man.....

I don't think you understand the concept of these videos. It's a full how to video for people first jumping into this process. That stuff I say at the beginning is to teach the new people exactly why and how I'm doing what I'm doing.
