  • According to my copy of the Domesday,this was originally called Estone,and given to Rainald the Sheriff by Earl Roger (de Breteuil,son of Willam FitzOsbern,Earl of Hereford 1071-1075/76 when he rebelled with Earl Ralph of E.Anglia and his lands were forfeited.)Terrific programme,Thanks!
