  • i am making a game room. what i hope to do is build the out side of arcade machine and put a computer in side. i will run mame so i can play arcade games

  • Fantastic. If only I had the room...

I'm thinking of doing something with my old dust-gathering PS1 and TV set. Maybe turn it into a retro gaming centre. Not as authentic as yours though!

  • how much was this

  • Sega outrun was out in Europe as well? or did you import it?

  • Hi, no I bought it from an arcade operator in Hunstanton, Norfolk a couple of years ago. It's 100% UK spec from about 1986.

  • do you know where i might be able to find one?

  • are these machines expensive or cheap or a bit of both??? because im thinking of getting a couple of these babes myself! :)

  • The pinball machine can cost between £500 to well over £1000. But the video games can be as cheap as £50. It depends on the condition and where you purchase from. Hope this is helpful.

  • where can you get an arcade machine for £50?

  • Look on eBay for an empty cab which you can kit out as a MAME machine. Sometimes they go as low as £50 depending on the condition. Good Luck!

  • thanks

  • best games collection video ive seen on youtube without doubt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Thank you.

  • Nice!

  • Nice, what do you do with space if you ever need more, or do you ever swap over motherboards?

  • At the moment I have 9 machines in arcade. At a push I could fit one more in. If I see a new machine then I have to decide what machine goes to replace it, it's not easy choosing. Have you seen more more detailed video on my arcade? It's a little out of date now but I will be making a new video soon.

  • I've not no, but will do so!

I own two machines myself, a 4 player TMNT machine (actually a UK Hero Turtles one), which I switch occasionally with a Simpsons board and a full scale Enduro racer machine. picked them up really cheap on eBay, but most of the sellers on there are selling them not because they need the money, but they need the space.

  • Have you Ever thought of getting a generic 6 button JAMMA machine, then you can easily choose what you want, better yet a Jukebox version, so you don't need to keep swapping boards.

  • Oh, I Love your Daytona machine there, I've always wanted a 2 player Daytona machine myself, again it's the space rather than money.

(do you know if you can swap boards with VR and Daytona for that?)

  • Nice race driving game. That was one of my favorites. I have a mame arcade machine but it doesnt really do race driving very good.

  • They would have to be mad but I would consider it yes. I'm just working on another Jamma machine at the moment converting to Mame and it'll include Dragons Lair and Space Ace. Will get another video out once it's complete.

  • I married a jacobs, so can I have your space invaders or space ace?

  • The Space Invaders is my home built Mame machine that also runs the Daphne emulator. This emulator runs all the classic laser disk games like Dragons Lair etc.

In answer to your question, no. I love my machines too much, nice try thought. ;oP

  • Some errors above need correcting. Firstly Space Ace is the mame'd machine running a Daphne emulator. And finally should read "Nice Try Though" is what it say at the end.

  • very very nice! does it get hot in the room?

  • It does a little in the summer but it's not too bad.

  • sweet room man.

  • Thanks, I didn't really show my OutRun, I'll do another video a bit longer and in greater detail. Also the screens don't flicker like that it's the shutter speed on the video camera.
