Oh man! this brings back some memories!!!! I lived there when I was about 4-8 and frome 11-13 it's such an awesome place!! I really want to go back! My mum and I have a plan to go back in hopefully a year!! I'm just doing some recall on the great city! unfortunately I wasn't computer intagrated when I lived there, can any one give me a ruff estimate of how the internet is in qatar?? do they block sites and stuff?? if anyone answers it would be a great help!

@TheRealAndyRogers: everyting in Doha is quite expensive... you will spend 100 QAR for 1GB USB internet and after 1Gb of consumption you will have to pay per kb, well that was 2 years ago... I dont know how much is it now... And yes, they do block sites that are forbidden in their religion... and you know what they are ;)

i have to say i've only been to Qatar once. but man i love this place! there is just something very alluring about it. if you've never been there i would say go and make sure you have a good tour guide. you'll need one.
