@blue44411At full charge they read 13.2 volts that is .7 volts more than a 3 cell lipo but the lipo has a lot more amp discharge capability so for heavy vehicles or high speed gearing the lipo is superior
@bionicrustler i am running a 6cell 7.2v NiMH battery pack in my stock XTM X-cellerator and i was woundering if i should go to a higher voltage, what do you think? and also what did you do with the velineon system that was in ur stock rusler?
@blue44411 I don't think the stock motor/esc will handle any more power. The velineon is great but you will have to check to see if your transmission has steel gears or the brushless system will trash plastic gears

Ofna now sells this chassis in electric version you just have to supply motor,ESC,and electronics. The app is in the Android market it is called Rc Car Gearing it is a free app for any android phone.
If you watch my other videos it shows the build and throughout a few videos shows problems and solutions I worked through. My last video shows my best speed of 83 MPH
the reason u are going thru front tires so much is that there is not enouf weight in the front it happened with my slash 4x4 vxl and i put weight on the front end and it helped alot
@UGotKilledByACamper I believe it came from RC Planet but I looked now and didn't see them. I never installed it I have just been using 500,000 diff lube and that solved the problem. One reason I did not install it is I had been spitting the drive lugs off all three differentials so I switched to the newer differentials with the out drives built onto the shafts instead of the earlier ones that had the set screws this eliminated six chances of tearing up dog bones. Locked diff for sale
@bionicrustler Ah, i totally understand. Are those new diffs on the newer cars??? Cause i was thinkin about buying the Ofna Electric Dirt Oval roller from Tower Hobbies and was wondering if those diffs are on there.
I have been thinking about foams but I haven't bought any yet. The only jaco foams i have found are for the kyosho and the rears are way too wide to clear my fenders. Ofna makes some foams also i may try them.
You should buy foams for it. They don't balloon and last a lot longer than any rubber tires. Plus the grip is better. Jaco makes 1/8th foams for your GTP. Awesome machine!
It is the 2000kv. The higher kv motor does not always mean more speed especially on a heavy car the 2650 would have to be geared a lot lower to keep the heat down. Look at some of the very fast cars they are using as low as 1000kv motors but they are geared super high their pinion gear looks like the spur on mine.
Do you know if the locked center diff would fit in the new LX-1e?
