@flaze3 yeps that was the first time I ever tried to sing operah. And yes i'm not a classical singer. I'm a slow song guy. But I thought it was fun to do.
Hi, my name is Tim. I am doing the lip rolls and tonguetrills from Disc3. My voice starts breaking at the "first bridge." Should I repeat the exercises until I can go past the bridge before I move on to the next Disc? and how often should I practice? Can I practice more than once a day?(on and off) or is it better if you practice in one sitting per day? Also, is a little strain on the voice okay?(for improvement) or do you ALWAYS have to be in a range where you sound comfortable? Thank you!!
@heymanhaha you should be comfortable before moving to the next disc at least i did. Practice once a day should be fine if your voice feels tired don't practice take a day of to in the week. Strain on your voice is never o.k. if your straining maybe your not doing something correctly. Always sing in a comfortable range. I hope it helps you as much as it did help me.
How long did it take to sing like that? I think it is good singing. I dont know what other people think, but I think it is awesome. Was it hard for you at first?
Men I had the same problem as you. A changin voice that is horrible. But yes this program is good for you. The only thing is you have to be patient because your voice is not going to be stable. There will be times that it will do strange things because it is changing but this program can help you.
Hi, i just had a quick question. I am a 15 year old boy and i would really like to imporve my singing, and increase my vocal range. I started singing when i was about 11 years old and i used to sing pretty good, but then i hit puberty and i couldnt sing the high notes anymore. I would really like to hit those high notes again. would you recommend this program for me? Im, really desperate :|
@wsc94balla yea im 14 goen through the same thing but uhm go to singingsuccessonline and get that if ur parents cant afford it ask for it for christmas! Thats exactly what i did and they said i works! thats what he used on the video! So good luck
@wsc94balla Actually you can 'hit' those notes. It's just a matter of understanding your new voice. Before, your vocal cords were thin and supple. When you go through puberty they thicken and elongate.
When you were a child soprano, you can could easily hit high notes because high notes = thin cords, and as a child you only had thin cords.
@flaze3 Now your cords have thickened, so you need to learn how to access those high notes in a different way. You can do it by strengthening your falsetto. Practice starting softly on falsetto notes, then getting louder. Gradually you will get used to holding back air and letting your cords vibrate freely.
@flaze3 Eventually you can 'connect' your falsetto with your new low voice, and 'blend' the two together. This is not some magical process; it's just getting used to different vocal coordinations.
Thank you for your comments I respect your opinion. But I know what is true in my heart. I remember praying and asking God for help with my singing. By no means is my intend to diminish the work of Brett Manning. Even He acknowledges God in his list of persons he is thankfull for his success. I'm thankfull first to God, then Brett M. and Jesse Nemitz.
seriously nicely done, amazing range improvement from the sounds of it
but saying god showed you singing success i think diminishes the hard work firstly that Brett Manning put into the program and secondly that you put into training through it. It wasn't god, you gave yourself the ability through hard work and perseverance.
and I don't care what anyone says but religion itself is not automatically worthy of respect, it all comes down to individuals. congrats on your success =)
Thanks for the nice comments. I respect your opinion. I by no means diminish the work of Brett Manning he's a wonderfull voice coach. But even he acknowlegdes God in the list of persons that he is thankfull for helping him get this far. I remember praying and asking God to help me find my voice and sing higher. I don't believe in coincidence. But like I said I respect your opion but for my improvement surely I have 3 persons to thank first is GOD second Brett M. and Jesse Nemitz.

To end this discussion I would appreciate if everybody would respect the fact that I'm a Christian and I don't appreciate curse words espiacially about god on the comments.
Fact is tha God created me. And this voice i have is because of Him. He showed me a group of person that helped me understad how my voice works. So I could never ever take credit for what he has created. And that is the bottomline.
I'm sorry you feel this way about God. You know i'm deeply convinced that He helped me. You see I prayed for help and he showed me singing success.
He is the One who gave me this voice because he created it. He is the One that gave a a soul to express my feelings through singing. You I would be nothing without Him or His Son Jesus Christ who payed for my salvation with his very own blood.
The voice before training was so effortless, beautiful and free. It sounded natural. It made my body relax. You have a very beautiful instrument. You don't need singing lessons.
i think you had a nice tone to your voice before you began learning, but of course, after you can hear a slight difference although you had a good voice before taking lessons. The two things that have improved the most i think is your range and your vibrato. Keep up the good work! :)
sound so pro, what mic you used??

I liked your voice before singing success. The last song also sounded good. But the way you sang Nesun Dorma wasn't very classical :p
