@jony317 ... my response wasn't intended to insult or dispute ... just to bring awareness that there are other possibilities. i dont see how a suggestion can be arrogant ... but we all see things the way we do.
@jalindberg11 i can see how you might think that because he is so gifted in his talent and so incredibly beautiful to look at ... that he must know it .. and is therefor a "false humility" .. but you might want to open your mind some and take into account people's childhood, personalities & inherent traits. not all attractive famous people are self-centered & arrogant ... some are introverted & shy or come from a humble upbringing ... don't judge a book by it's cover.
@dyedinsoul maybe u misunderstood berg11's reply, I dont think thats what she was saying. this is the problem with the net, people talk in a fashion they wouldnt use in person. its rude and condescending to tell someone to open their mind, u dont know berg11 and I'm willing to bet u dont know CC so all of this is speculation. maybe u should try posing/asking questions instead of speakin with such certainty, its arrogant .
premature aging, ahahah so young to lose your hair turn white and ... each person has what he deserves ... a dancer comes to be a star but only prevails when power is ... there are thousands in the fight goodbye
I'm the biggest CC fan but is it possible he or anyone with this level of success b this humble? some musicians r true artists, he seems to b, most r just douche bags with access to too much.
@jony317 It's hard for someone as talented and gorgeous as CC not to know it but so what, it would be false humility to pretend otherwise. Still, I think is is very humble. His kindness and humanitarianism bear that out. He seems grateful for all his gifts, and shows a respectful appreciation of all his fans.
I agree with this. Most of the 90's grunge frontmen never came off like the attention-whore 80's frontmen did. They always seemed more humble and respectable.
Hey Chris Cornell if you do go on YOUTUBE and read comments about music and your career , how about you reuniting with AUDIOSLAVE, besides SOUNDGARDEN ? :) please comment back dude
@fdakis Be that as it may, Dave is a HELL of a person to watch and hear. His vocal tone is classic and his james brown scream are awesome. As for his personality, I cant help but love it..hes entertaining as shit. Hes the probably the only rock frontman with his own -isms. I cant think of anyone else who has that much personality kicks ass. But Cornell and Staley are my ultimate vocal inspirations bar none.
@ShivaTheAuspicious I totally agree. As far as stage presence, flair, and showmanship, Dave and Steven Tyler (along with an UNBELIEVABLE voice) are the best in the business in my opinion. And you're right, Dave's tone is very distinct . If you hear a song with him or Eddie Vedder, most fans of the genre almost immediately know it's them.
i think that dave grohl is a great example of i good frontman

I give him an F for that question and an A on stage. Of course singers are not more important than others, thats why they are giving them a show.

At the end Howie from Backstreet Boys pops out of no where amongst all of these rock guys. LOL!
