God Fantasic playing , love the sound of the 370/12... i just got one, i,m left handed ..love it, but hard too play you have any tips pls ..............Thanks for all your songs .
Wow! It's an amazing performance! This is one of my favourite Byrds songs. I like Roger so much and you look and play just like him! Thanks for shared. Oh, and i like your sunglasses too :-)
@ToastStrangler Ma Granda used tae dress up as Elvis. When ma mate, Tam, got stoned, he used tae think ma Granda really WAS the King!! Tam was filthy rich (an early yuppie), and ma Granda used tae sign cheap Elvis LPs (Camden label), and sell them tae Tam. Ma Granda retired early (it was ma Granda that sold Tam , and others, the dope). Granda bought new teeth, and moved tae the Seychelles. Its a funy auld world. BTW ah've burnt ma taost, but never strangled it. each tae their own, ma man =)
Excellent David!!! Then again, that's what I have come to expect out of your renditions, pure excellence!!! Thank you. By the way, have you gotten the chance to check out my latest song, "I Wish I Was Headed Home"?
Another keeper for Byrds fans. There are actually three different versions of this song performed by the Byrds. The Turn,Turn,Turn version is slower and it's hard to hear the 12-string while they are singing. The first recorded version which appears on the compilation albums is faster and sounds more like the 1965 folk rock Byrds. Finally, there's the video version which I believe is one of the few live performances of the original quintet - it's my favorite. Actually, they're all quite good.
BRAVO! Dave, I swear you are starting to outstrip your models! Love the Dylanesque enunciation of "hall", too. Sorry not to have been back at you lately --- been one thing and another, but I should have some time today and tomorrow. Trying to answer five people at once. By the way, I take it this is *all* you, on the recording? Fantastic! Oh, and one more observation/question: The "organ tone" often heard at the end of your performances --- is that the natural resonance of the Ric? Amazing . . .
Really cool, man. You don't see much on YT, if anything, of The Byrds being covered. I think it's just you and me.

FLAWLESS!
Great work David. :-)
There is a Gene Clark vocal part underneath McGuinn's part during the turnarounds.
Kudos for hitting the G6 at the end!!
Probably your best McGuinn so far. :-)

Applicable to the world and America today. Very progressive thinking. Racism and greed is out. Bob was right.
