These people have inspired me. Im just a kid but I can still protect my neighbor hood. So the past two weeks I have been known as the prototype and I have been hanging around on fire escapes and stuff but then I saw this kid about to be ran over by a car when he went for his ball in the street. So I pulled off my shirt covering my costume put on my mask and jumped down and ran, grabbed him, and pulled hm away from the car also kicking his ball out of the way. :) You guys inspired me to do this.

Yeah, Socialworkers that take the kid's away from their loving parents just because they can't make ends meet, great heroes. Real Heroes are Detectives, Cops, Firefighters, Loving Teachers, Priests, Preachers, Rabi's, Imams, Nuns, Monks and any individual that jsut wants to help people out.
Just because people look for them to guidance doesn't mean they provide good guidance, nor does it mean that they're heroic. Guidance counselors provide guidance, I don't consider that heroic. Heroism requires doing something amazing at great risk to oneself.
America has the highest incarceration rates in the world as a result of our racist, unjust legal system. Enforcing that is just about as far from heroic as one could get.
These people all seem like genuine good guys and girl, but........ I don't know, it feels really bizarre. All the charity stuff sounds ok, but I'm a little afraid for these people. like if they get shoot or stabbed, or even if they get the living crap beat out of them, that would suck.
Some of them actually use stuff to protect themselves. Like pepper spray. Also some of them have actually gotten there hands on some kevlar for bullet and stab protection.
You realise if it rains, kevlar is instantly rendered useless, and the stuff they have gotten their hands on, is Police surplus, meaning its old, probably with most of the waterproofing lost or destroyed.

These people all seem like genuine good guys and girl, but........ I don't know, it feels really bizarre. All the charity stuff sounds ok, but I'm a little afraid for these people. like if they get shoot or stabbed, or even if they get the living crap beat out of them, that would suck.

Some of them actually use stuff to protect themselves. Like pepper spray. Also some of them have actually gotten there hands on some kevlar for bullet and stab protection.

You realise if it rains, kevlar is instantly rendered useless, and the stuff they have gotten their hands on, is Police surplus, meaning its old, probably with most of the waterproofing lost or destroyed.
Theres a reason the police no longer use the protective garments they have procured.

Agreed. I have no problem with them but I do have...umm...qualms... I here you Maddogg... I really think that this has the potential for going very very badly for these guys.

i dont know about this patroling the streets stuff but doing charity work is the most helpful thing an average person can do doing good is what we all need to do
