To everyone who thinks ghost is alive, spoiler alert, he's not. Both him and roach die here. Hard to recover being shot, burned alive, and left for dead inside enemy terrain.

In fact MW3 gave us the dubious honor of killing off two other important characters from this game. So Ghost is not the only one to die before the games end.
