  • nicely done! thats the real technique that characterize a proffessionel traceur. To be abel to put 100% efficient power in your jumb! The key to this is the specific and reactive Power!

    Happy New Year!

  • You should land a lot quieter! (on landing, go to the knee)

    Otherwise: Very cool! : D

  • @KazilTV These are plyometric jumps. The idea is to improve rate of force development (e.g. speed and power) - not quietness of landing.

  • @Kt1an So you have a valid reason to fuck up your spine and knees - carry on in that case.

  • @SuckItLily Please refer me to these studies that prove jumping plyometrically on a level to level box jump can fuck up your back. Despite the fact they are not even landing heavily they have perfect posture; their level is suited, if not beyond this exercise.

If you feel that plyometric jumps are hurting your back and knees then by all means avoid. Bt There is a lot of research that proves this perfectly safe and beneficial. If interested research Verkoshansky.

  • @Kt1an We're not talking about plyometric jumps, we're talking about improperly executed ones. Loud landing means impact means damage. Of course you won't kill your back with the excersize in this video but if you can't land silently doing a small jump then how do you estimate your chances to do so during a much harder landing?

ANY skilled practisioner will tell you about the importance of distributing impact and that the smoothest movement is always the safest and most efficient.

  • @Kt1an quiet landing are always good ...

and you should always land quiet, the quieter the landing the less the impact ...

and we all know that uncontrolled impact can destroy things ...

in this case: Joints (even if it is not very high)

  • Funny stuff :D Great Workout! Happy New Year!
