Well, names ARE important.

And we are a long way from the TV series...But the series DID get the philosophy right. Thatz MOST important.

The people who made this film were well aware but just didn't care that they were using Kung Fu and calling it something else. There are serious differences and also if you were Chinese you'd be pissed if I called you Japanese when I KNEW you were Chinese. Entertainment is all about money but it can also do the right thing.
