Why should I have to touch the shades to make them darker. They should adjust automatically to the degree of sunlight as transition glasses already do.

You can't control when transition lenses adjust themselves. I think that's the highlight here.

That's true. Transitions take a while to adjust back once you enter a buidling, also.

I've tried out transition lenses and they don't 'go dark' when I want them to.

In Australia the glare is phenomenal and I like *black* when I'm outside, rather than the various grey shades that transition lenses change to.

Lol...let me see if I can use your obtuse analogy and actually apply it to the topic at hand......When it comes to transitions my kitchen DOES cook for me. Only thing is when I'm looking for breakfast I get lunch or when I'm looking for dinner I get breakfast. That's a far cry from no food at all...lol
